I decided not to go outside until it was light enough to see. Now I can see that the grass is white and frosty and it looks cold - though not -7 cold. (And when did the birds destroy the nuts?)... I have no desire to go and get cold but I'd better feed the feathery things of various sizes.

It was work's Christmas lunch yesterday, very nice although I was driving so also very sober. Had friends round in the evening, so it was a bit of a full on day.

Very frosty here, am contemplating staying inside for the day and then hoovering up some of yesterday's left over wine while watching faf on the TV in the evening. FancyCat can provide lap-warming duties as outside doesn't appeal much to her in this weather.

Fecking cold and a bit snowy and slushy. Have been out to do a bit of shopping and been up to mother’s as that’s the card drop off swap point.

We are hamster sitting this weekend. Fairly sure, even if I took him out of his cage, he wouldn’t be terribly useful as a cat for warming duties.

Today I will do knitting and, unfortunately, a bit of housework.

Did do a few things in the garden today. Not for long, it was cold. The frost on the grass didn't melt all day, looking forward to a wine-induced hot flush later In the meantime, I'm warming myself up with listening to music featuring a hot bassist some fine tunes

Nothing like properly appreciating some music - sometimes more than once - to get the blood pumping and the temperature up Fancy.

I wrote some cards and wrapped some presents, but I'm not in the zone and it was very tedious...

It is cold and frosty and hazy sunshine is starting to brighten up the mist. All manshapes are still asleep, I think (DS might have plugged himself in, but there's no noise, so probably not).

Today is writing more cards and visiting family.
