I'm the worst parent ever because I've sent DS to school even though we've been told we can keep them at home if we feel uncomfortable re. weather conditions. He told me last night that he was unbothered by the heat and fine to go in. Then he found out this morning about us being allowed to keep him home. He is unimpressed with me (understatement). Because school don't have x-box air con. And obviously, we do? (No, we don't). <le sigh> Also, most of his friends aren't going in <le sigh, again> So I can keep him off school, or I send him in, and feel like I'm being a rubbish parent either way.
In other news, KillerKitty has has a rabbit overnight. He fortunately ate most of it outside, so I've cleared up the carnage on the patio. Then he came in to finish off the legs he'd brought in to save for later.
My ankle is red and hot and puffy, despite slathering on antihistamine cream (Woe is me, etc)
<Crosses everything most things for a shady parking space>
<erk> at moving in 30 degrees Wicked that must have been grim - not a wonder you don't feel rested. We have new neighbours, who seem nice.
The HBFs approve of your clothing choice Apricot
Fingers crossed for ScaredyCat and [gauntlets] for the vet.
