Hope the exercises helped Helen. I don't do them, but that's interesting about the bra. I get a lot of backache when I'm ironing, washing up, even eating and have to undo mine. I think I'll try one of those and see if it helps.

Appointments went well, although my prescription wasn’t available so I’ll have to go back on Saturday. Seamstress woman who I wanted to have a look at something I wanted mending wasn’t open today. Got what I wanted from IKEA and thankfully I was in such a rush I couldn’t be tempted by an ice cream. DS2’s appointment was okay and I think useful. Finished my jigsaw. Quite knackered now.

I’ve got physio exercises but I’m lazy and hopeless and don’t do them. Don’t even have the excuse of a cat lying on me. I may also look into the sports bra thing.

Tonight I might have a bath, although my next book is Ink Black Heart and there’s zero chance of being able to hold that in the bath.

Evening all. I have been working and cooking and dealing with stroppy teenage entitlement. Or working out the best way to deal with it anyway. There hasn't been an apology, but he's making a point of being polite.

FFS parenting is a PITA sometimes.

The exercises have to go on for 12 weeks, so it's a bit early to know if they're helping.

On the plus side, I've just seen that Strike starts on 11th Dec.

Morning, very wet and miserable looking outside, ought to leave for work but it looks very unappealing. Was out last night at a comedy gig and am out tonight with work, so all a bit busy so far this week. Laters ......

Afternoon. Daaaaaaark! I’ve had enough. Four weeks until the turn. And then it’s Christmas and I haven’t done anything towards it.

On a positive note, we decided to have another look at the computer before shelling out on a new one, and I’ve got it working again after doing a factory reset! Yay! To be fair to PC guy we didn’t ask him to do this, only retrieve my files and photos, which he mostly did. Anyway, I’ve got to start again getting it back to how it was before, with bated breath that it won’t die again.

Hurrah for new Strike!

Yes, Helen absolutely went to work today. No, she didn’t hide in the hayloft.

I’ve felt quite crap today. Lower back giving me lots of trouble resulting in me hobbling about at work but only when no one was looking. Got home and had a long bath but bizarrely had indigestion when I got out. Feeling a bit better after something to eat but I definitely need an early night.

Well, I did it again. Wrote a post, got distracted, and then lost it in a frozen tab. FML.

Evening all. Daaaaark. Thunder (there was some flashes and possibly a rumble or two on my stomp along the road 10 minutes ago). I think I shall hibernate with Athos until Spring - wake me up in March - yes?

On the plus side, it's been mostly dry here today (if blowy) so I took a bit of time out to clean out the chicken coop this afternoon. (No HBFs were present. FMLackOfHBFs.)

There is much mud though.

Evening wenches. We had light showers and breezy forecast around lunchtime. We therefore had torrential rain and blowing a hooley. Fortunately it had decided to stop by home time.

I have half started Christmas lists. This mostly involves me looking for nice diaries, finding some on the British Museum website and then getting a little bit distracted by oooo that’d be nice for me. Seeing as it’s December next week though, I really should get on with it.

Have had a most annoying headache pretty much all day today, very unfair as I only had one small prosecco last night as I was driving. Anyhow, comedy was good, meal was pleasant - nice to have time to speak to people I don't see much of. Glad of having an evening in tonight - am sat under a cat at the moment ☺️

DH went to golf this mornig, but the course was closed due to the rain, so he came home to annoy me while I'm trying to sort and clean the toys from DS's shed. <sigh>

We've got DGS this evening as his Mum and Dad are going out. He's not keen on the football, but I don't think Young Sheldon or Cobra Kai will be a good substitute.

Work was quite quiet today as lots of people work at home on a Friday, a few of us went out for lunch for no real reason whatsoever.

Am back under a cat again, am going to have to move her son though as I want to make a cup of tea.....
