I took the car for its re-arranged-from-last-month MOT this morning. Miraculously it passed so phew and all that.

We’ve had heavy rain most of the day. Thankfully stopped for the way home which was just as well because the traffic was shite again and it took nearly twice as long as usual to get home, with me stressing because I needed to get home to help DS2 with homework (he’d done what he could and was stuck), and I’ve loads of stuff to do this evening.

Hope everywench else stayed dry and any journeys were okay. I might go and cry into a vodka.

I'm debating going to see Living tomorrow after work. The showtimnes are a bit awkward though, I'm also trying to fit in a physio appointment and it's all not hanging together very well. <le petit humphy visage> <shrugs> I'll work something out.

It's raining here. I may have been raining at work but I didn't notice, other than it was a bit grey outside. We've had Traffic Armageddon round here today - roadworks combined with closures and accidents Fortunately I was going against the flow, and had an alternative route home tonight (stuck behind a 30mph driver<le sigh>) Still, I'm home and in PJs, so all is well. DH is going out to get a takeaway because we can't be bothered/haven't had one for ages.

I have been at home today - the gardener was here & someone needs to keep him supplied with hot drinks Garden is looking tidier which is good, but on the minus side I haven't been able to get the work done that I wanted for various reasons.

Morning all. The takeaway shop was shut for a refit. DH went to Tesco and got pizza instead. On the plus side, that saved us £20+

It's very wet. We've had an inch of rain in the past 24 hours and it's still raining, though not blowing a hooley just now. DS has squelched off to school with an umbrella and I'm hoping that my hew hole-free wellies arrive soon.

The physio gave me a pummelling and then lot of exercises. So now my shoulders hurts more now than it did before - predictably.
