Change of circumstances dla wait time 2022

Hi I am a single mother of a 9 year old boy with JIA , I put in a change of circumstances to dla as he gets low care but this was awarded for his mental health before his diagnosis and change in care needs . I have been told my application must sit in queue for 17 weeks before it’s looked at . I have been doing some research online about this wait time and seem to find nothing . Would love some advise on other people currently waiting on a coc .

Hi ladies I called up today was told been sent to decision maker and phone back next Wednesday for an update I sent new evidence put it wasn't on system he said it takes 2 days luckily xx congrats to the lady's getting there rewards xxx

@Ssabb90 I called today as was confused over a letter I was sent about £10 Xmas bonus but letter said we owe u this from here Till now with just extra ten pound.. what's the point in all that paperwork and postage. Whilst on the phone i checked where my coc was up to as 22 weeks now and was told not been seen yet so next couple weeks I actually give up now 😅 x

Omg I thought exactly same thing had to read the letter 5 times to understand it. Why bother wasting all that paper and postage to tell us that??? Caused more confusion than excitement lol. I was actually quite angry it wasn’t what Iv been waiting for haha, however am grateful every little helps x

I am ringing, will let you all know what dates we are now fingers crossed x

Just sent off the rest of my evidence for the mr. @Liverpoolgirl40 are you going ahead with the MR? Just to let you all know aswel if you take evidence to the jobcentre they will scan it on the system and send it off for you xx

Don't know if anyone else copies your forms when you send them off so you can look back when you have to re apply. I asked the dla to send me a copy of my application which they will do when it's scanned on the system saves a lot of time scanning it yourself

Hi I've called today as was told to and I've been told still not been looked at and will be another ten days which take me until December 8th until I'll ring again. They have my forms since 24th June @Ssabb90

@Liverpoolgirl40 hope you feel better soon nothing worse than feeling ill. That's me this couple my family members have covid and I've not been able get out my bed today feel like death. 🙃

I've never had covid but how I feel today isn't good 😕 😔 😪 .. xx

Funnily enough i got it last week and didn’t feel like the last time I had it. I think this dla waiting time is giving us covid xx

I put coc in on the 18th October and I've just had an extra payment from dla in my bank so I'm assuming my award has been sorted I'll call tomorrow and update you all
