Change of circumstances dla wait time 2022

Hi I am a single mother of a 9 year old boy with JIA , I put in a change of circumstances to dla as he gets low care but this was awarded for his mental health before his diagnosis and change in care needs . I have been told my application must sit in queue for 17 weeks before it’s looked at . I have been doing some research online about this wait time and seem to find nothing . Would love some advise on other people currently waiting on a coc .

Someone needs to take one for the team, come on xx

I've just phoned only had a 10 minute wait and got the most lovely helpful lady.. she told me update from her email this morning is at least 25 weeks wait

Hi all I've called this morning as I'm on 21 weeks today I was told it taking 21 to 22 weeks to hit the front off decision makers pile then a further 2 weeks from there. I rang as have more evidence to send

Oh wow thanks guys!! I’m 19 weeks Friday so looks like I have another month to go, I can’t understand why it’s taking so long. Wow .

Wow, they are changing the goal posts all the time! The times are increasing every time somebody rings!

Will be glad once it's all over it's exhausting I've sent my new evidence recorded deliver as the male on the phone said it will be another week before it reaches first on dm desk...so I'm hoping end off the month I have decision.. hope every one hears soon to.

What happens if they lower your award and its taken 25 weeks do you have to pay it back 🤔

Hi anyone know the address and post code for sending info into Dla. I've sent some to wrong address and don't want to wait in the queue for a call just for address TIA

Morning ladies, I’ve received a payment into my bank account which means mine has been sorted. Will ring up at 9 and check what we have been awarded as the payment is a very small amount and makes no sense, since I rang for my form in February. Will keep you all updated xx

Im 22 weeks yesterday so debating shall i call today or wait another week because im not sure what the waiting times are anymore as everyone is different ha . And @Liverpoolgirl40 did you have to send loads of evidence for your coc? Xx
