Exciting seeing/hearing the Red Arrows Apricot.

Flapjacks made, ironing done and away, parents visited, meltdown from DS2 about homework/revision. I could see it coming because he did nothing Friday and barely anything yesterday because I wasn’t organising and nagging and reminding other than “should you be doing anything?” Tried to keep it all calm to head it off but no. I went for a walk, he calmed down. I’m now drinking vodka and knitting.

Monday again. How fun. We’ve permanently lost a member of support staff so the rest of us are absorbing the work, and it’s something I hate doing. No plans to recruit.

Was sunny when I woke up. It’s now cloudy and windy. Sort yourself out weather.

Morning wenches. We have sun and floaty-past clouds and wind. I think I spent a lot of yesterday in the garden <thinks> yes - and up a ladder and I ended up starting to paint the cladding on the house, due to already being up a ladder trying to fix a loose tile. DH had one of those days when he started doing things and something would go wrong (which I why I was up a ladder to start with), so nothing he tried to do got completely finished. At least nothing fell off the ladder apart from my paintbrush.

Oh, FFS re. work LetUs (I think I may have done that to an old team when I left too though - they didn't replace me and the others on the team kept saying how much they would hate having to do my work. Then again though, one of them worked their way into taking over something I enjoyed, so <shrug>.) LOL at the idea of skipping along next to DS - 'mortified' wouldn't come close I hope the knitting didn't suffer from the vodka, and you're recovered from the Killers now. The Radio was full of chatter about the crowdsurfing OAP this morning.

Exciting re. the Red Arrows - <arf> at the 'tiny dots'. Isn't that always the way?

Hope that Fancy gets on ok with work and the cats don't get too grumpy.

Afternoon. It's gone quite warm. I've been doing some more gardening. It's suffering from lack of DH as he's at DS's when he's not playing golf.

He says he was on the roof of the cabin yesterday and the Red Arrows went right overhead.

That's a pain about work LetUs. That keeps happening to DD and she's at the end of her tether. They are recruiting but then the new people have to be trained which takes her away from her own work.

The crowdsurfing pensioner was amazing especially after Brandon had been down to the crowd for a chat with him and to check he was okay, he said he’d asked him what he was doing and - in an attempt at a northern accent oh my days - said that chap had said “I was enjoying meself”

Eeek at wenches being up ladders and MrApricot being on a cabin roof! Thank goodness he wasn’t too surprised when the Red Arrows went over.

I’m grateful I don’t have to train the new starters but it would be nice if they stuck around.

Have restarted Couch 2 5K tonight. Fuck me, that was more effort than I’d anticipated.

I did get out from under FancyCat thanks & have been mostly working since - boo!

Evening all. AIBU or is MN desperately slow to load in the evenings. It's been timing out on me and hanging while doing DDOS checks. bloody tedious.

What you need, LetUs, is a HBF to run in front of you. I bet you'd be amazed how fast you can run and how long you they can keep it up <snerk>. I've got a bit out of the habit of going for bike rides too (too busy up ladders etc.)

Hurrah for warm weather and gardening Apricot - I'm glad to hear that the Red Arrows didn't make MrA fall off the roof!

Picking up the keys to my new place tomorrow. My current landlord wanted the house back as soon as possible so I’m renting the new place from tomorrow so I can start moving some things over, but the big move is still the 30:th. I’m so excited 😀

Was lovely today, clouded over and went cooler when I got home and sat outside for a bit, now it’s beautifully sunny again.

Got a couple of washes out at each end of the day though.

Didn’t sleep very well last night so I’m tired and really need to get an early night.

Didn’t sleep well either last night, and I even took a sleeping pill. I had to pee three times, then I was hungry, then it was too warm, there’s also mosquitoes inside so I had to put on some anti mosquito stuff (?).

Home at last! DD has even managed to keep the plants on the patio alive and thriving, so lots of sweet peas to pick. Was very nice to have dinner in the garden - until I realised I wasn't dining alone. Have taken a piriton <sighs> <side eyes bitey flying fuckers>

Was having a better night until DS2 woke me at 5.30 with yet another nosebleed. Poor sod. He must be knackered too. Have one wash out and should have time to get this one out too that’s in the machine.

Afternoon. Lovely sunny day. I shoved the summer duvet in the washing machine this morning and it's now dry and ready for use.

This afternoon I did a bit more garden tidying and then sat out with sudoku and Magnum. Unfortunately the people over the road are having something done and there were two white vans on the other side of the fence where I sit and the workmen were slamming and sliding the doors for about an hour which was a pain.

Oh poor DS2 LetUs, hope he's alright now.

How annoying apricot, can't a wench enjoy a Magnum in peace?

Aw poor DS letus, nosebleeds are an utter nuisance.

I selected the varieties that were labelled as highly scented helen - they're no more so than the cheapo ones I got from the supermarket last year but that's probably just as well - I suspect they cause a bit of irritation to my breathing but it's worth it for the smell.

Speaking of irritation - my shoulder has 3 bites on it and has swollen right up & there is another bite on my neck. Fuckers <sits under mosquito net with ww>

I have worked and uncovered a potentially very unpleasant mess left by my predecessor. I flagged it up to the customer, then stuck my 'out of office' and ran away
