DS came home saying he'd hurt his foot and didn't know how. Then later he mentioned how he'd literally fallen over a friend at school. So that might have something to do with it

We watched the last in the series of Grantchester last night. It was a bit heavy going to be honest, but... Leonard is free! Hurrah!

Bits of shopping went well, other bits didn’t. We did go to see DS1 (not before DS2 had had one his strops) and had a late lunch. It was lovely to see DS1 though.

I’m quite happy to do washing. Bring it round to the Tav laundry.

Plans today are horsing and meeting a friend and doing a food shop and trying to get the room-that-has-been-emptied re-filled with things that need to go there, and throw out things that don't need to be anywhere. Very quiet here. Not much noise from outside, DS2 is miraculously still asleep. Hopefully the roads will be quieter. I know where one end of the road closure is, but I haven’t seen the sign for the other end so that’s going to be a surprise this morning.

Afternoon. Lovely day, much washing done and I've done a bit of garden tidying as it's bin day on Wednesday.

Poor DH had to sleep sitting up, ibuprofen isn't helping. I think it's a muscle spasm, as he has no idea how it happened.

Road still closed here, but at least they are working on it now. I counted the speed bumps on the diversion to our road this morning and there are 22! My car doesn't like them.
