It even seemed darker when I left work tonight than it has been recently. This is unacceptable.

Knitting target has gone out the window tonight. DS2 hadn’t done any of the homework he could have been getting on with before I got home so he had to crack on with that before dinner, then the raft of maths revision has had to be started after dinner (needs my iPad for that). So tired DS2 plus tired me plus fecking algebra and negatives equals not a very good mix. We’ve just knocked it on the head so the chances of me concentrating are nil.

Hope you soon got your peace and quiet back Apricot.

Urgh. Headache.

I have worked and taxied and cooked and tidied. DH has painted ansd help with tidying and then I got him up out of his chair when I took a picture down to find an open socket behind it with bare wires Neither of us has any recollection of that. The wires have been tested and they're all dead, so DH is sealing them into a connector and tomorrow yon plasterer will be plastering them in.

I have a headache, did I say? FML... Also, dentist tomorrow. I forgot and had tea with garlic in it. Oops.

Have had a nice round at FancyMan's - went for a walk. It was quite chilly, but I suppose I shouldn't complain as it January.

I hope you're now snoozing in bed letus & that helen's headache has fucked off and that apricot's nerves have recovered.

We parked the car at DD's house and walked to fetch DGS from school. It's a good two miles there and back and I'm now knackered. No friend tonight though. Never again!

Rubbish day because some pillocks can’t be arsed to get themselves organised. Fortunately DS2 got on with his homework himself when he got in from school and then the maths has been a bit more straightforward. The stuff —we— he struggled to get last night seemed to click tonight —more or less—.

Evening all. Slightly bonkers day. Plasterer turned up early - cue much flailing. Dentist saw no problems with the teeth I was there for, but decided I need two new fillings and one replaced Then lots of work interspersed with plastering support. And my car kept it's headlights even at 10am since it as so gloomy outside

Yay for being fully vaccinated Wicked, and glad to hear you had a more relaxing friend-free session with DGS Apricot - and the HBFs will be pleased to hear you're keeping your stamina up with lots of exercise

Ooooh - I was going to say we've had nothing of interest here either, but... the pothole fixers came down the road and actually did everything!!!! This is majorly exciting, because I reported the road for repairs almost bang on 2 years ago. And now I can mooch up and down the road without falling into a pothole.

Fab news about the potholes Helen can you send them my way please? Today there were unexpected road works on the commute. Not a large detour but on not very good roads.

Come for a visit Fancy (or anyone else) - I can give you a tour of the filled potholes! We can dance little jigs on them!

Morning all. It's frost out there today, and the sunrise has gone from purply-blue clouds to pink now, which is spreading further up the sky. Quite pretty (and a bit parky).
