Morning all. It's dark and cloudy outside, with a thin line of actual sky on the horizon. DS is stumbling about like the living dead and DH is asleep. KillerKitten is outside trying to kill things. IntelligentCat is asleep upstairs. That's today so far.

Still dark. DS2 wouldn’t get up and is generally being a bit of a pain. I’m in a Monday grump.

Sunrise, when it happened, was actually quite pretty - the clouds thinned out and the up-high ones went fluffy pink and there were other colours too. Probably went all goldne too, but actually I don't remember, other than 'pretty'.

Evening all. My I'll send you the files on Monday work emails never arrived, so I ended up having something of a Admin day, which was useful I guess, but not what I wanted to do really.

Hope that LetUs and Wicked had a decent day at work, and Fancy had a nice day off, and FancyDS is doing well.

Have you tried sleeping pills Apes? Helped me a lot of times. It’s the worst not getting enough sleep.

Didn’t do much this weekend, did a bit of cleaning and then watching telly and working on my jigsaw.

Outside is daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark without a hint of sunrise and I haven't been out yet. But some swans just flew past.

Today I shall mostly be waiting for emails and trying to sort out a bank error. Yay!

Day didn’t exactly go as planned as I got a call from DS2’s school just after lunch to say he wasn’t well and could I just call round to collect him and take him home. They let me speak to him and he really didn’t sound with it so I’ve had to take half a day’s leave. From the sounds of it, it sounds a bit like anxiety. We’ve had a chat. Sigh.

I shall take inspiration from Apricot and crack on with my knitting this evening.

Never saw the sun today - the solar lamp didn't even come on this evening because it had no sunlight through the day to power it up. Also never had the emails arrive either and the bank cut me off after 30 minutes of intermittent talking and being put on hold. Not really a very successful day. And I have a headache, which is also a bugger.

Bath and bed and sleep would be a good plan tonight I think.

Yes, maybe try a different kind or a smaller dose Apes, it really sucks not getting any sleep.

DS2 seems better today. I’ve gone over some things to do if he feels like that again and hopefully now he knows what it is, it’ll take some of his worry away. I’ll have to email school about it.

Morning wenches. It's frosty here too, but not into the ground. Sunrise has been a bit insipid - there was some peachy/orange clouds, but that didn't last any time and now it's just silvery gold and lots of high cloud with hints of blue sky behind it. There is sun though, and blue sky, so that's already an improvement on yesterday.

Enjoyed the Homeland commentary from last night.

Headache is not gone (woke up at 5:30 with it) but it's been subdued a bit, so I don't think I can really use it to bunk off work Especially since it didn't stop we washing the carpet . Now I need to tidy up after carpet cleaning (having just lobbed everything off the carpet onto sofa, etc). le joy.
