Afternoon - we did manage a Lucifer watch last night which was nice. Ironing & Homeland tonight I think. DS's PCR came back positive, he seems pretty good today though.

Took the decorations down last. Well apart from the ones I missed - happens every year Have left the lights above my bed though, just because.

Agreed about the decorations, I'd packed all the baubles back in their boxes when DH found one I'd left on the tree. It went into the tree box.

I've had a patchy day of laundry/work/plumber/work/laundry/work etc. Then at 4:45 realised I hadn't done the BigImportantJob that needed doing today. FMStupidity. Today I worked late.

I have substituted the ironing for Twiglets and vodka. Specifically, milk vodka, tonic and bramble cordial. It's lush

Rain. Very much rain. Have been to uniform shop with DS2 for outside PE stuff and then off to a craft barn by myself. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much yarn all in one place. Treated myself to a little break in their tea shop.

Much rain here too, a really dingy day. But hey, daylight is already 17 minutes longer than the shortest day.

I have been out all day at SportingActivity and then cinema with DS. I can confirm that the Spiderman film is much more entertaining the the Matrix one. This also involved taking DH's big car into a multi-storey car park [horror] and doing hill starts with it's bloody electronic hand brake [more horror] It's been very wet all day though.

I love the sound of the craft barn - it's been forever since I went somewhere like that without anyone tagging along being booooooored.

King Arthur was in that Jack Whitehall comedy a few years ago, Bounty Hunters. He played twins and I seem to recall the top/s came off fairly quickly, if indeed it/they was/were on in the first place.

Well, I didn't turn the computer on yesterday. Everyone came round for the Christmas 'do' which was cancelled due to covid. I spent the morning preparing and cooking a meal for 11 of us. DH was responsible for table laying, veg peeling and keeping on top of washing up, as he's no cook. Anyway, it all went well and it was lovely for us all to be together after so long. It's taken us all morning to get everything back and I'm doing nothing for the rest of the day.

That craft barn sounds lovely LetUs. We discovered one about half an hour from the caravan last year which we didn't know existed. We've only been going there for 14 years.

Hurrah for your family meal apricot - sounds lovely (if hard work!)

I have been busy, which is ok, because now I feel happy that stuff actually got done today. I also told someone I'd look at their website, and none of the links they're sending me work, which is a massive pain in the arse.
