Had a good day yesterday thanks - it was sort of our Christmas meal together, so we had Boxing Day food and one of DD's friends joined us.

Feeling a bit tired today for no apparent reason ignores late bedtimes and too much food and wine

Afternoon. Quite a nice day after early rain. From tomorrow the mornings start to draw out. The afternoons are now 15 minutes lighter than they were at their darkest iyswim. Yay!

We've dismantled the trees and all the Christmas stuff today and it's back in the loft. Everywhere looks so bare.

That sounds a lovely meal Fancy. I haven't got out of the meal for 11 that was reduced down to 5 because of covid. It's been rearranged for this Saturday, so I've got to do it all over again.

We've started The Tourist with Jamie Dornan. It's bloody terrifying.

Evening all. We are still fully decorated here. Spent the afternoon at Sporting Activity and had lots of fun.

Didn’t do much yesterday. Had the three of them fecking bickering and shouting all the way through the football so that was a super way to spend the evening.

Morning all. Sunrise this morning was dark grey cloud cover getting a slightly lighter grey I don't think the washing will be getting very dry out on the line today. FML - should have done it yesterday if I hadn't slept the morning away. Hurrah for the mornings getting lighter though.

Looks like DS has the 'rona - started with a temperature yesterday & it seems quite a few friends have also gone down with it after the NYE party he was at. Took him for a PCR test today, so just waiting on that, although he says he feels a bit better today than yesterday & has settled in for an early night. So I have been working at home & will for the rest of the week, have had to pass on a night out tomorrow with FancyMan as I would feel too guilty about spreading it, especially as in his line of work there's no WFH or sickpay. Which is a bugger as the tickets for the event were my Christmas present to him.

May try to console myself with a remote watch of Lucifer with DD tomorrow instead.

No side effects from the boost yet. Last time I think I was just a furnace overnight and that was it. DH has had to go out, so I'm keeping fingers crossed that he is also fine and I don't have to go out to pick him up. (Like to School run, but for grownups )

Morning all. I have prodded the manshapes in this house. DS would be back to school, but he's on a staggered start. Which is kind of a literal description of DH as he gets out of bed for his first day back at work.

Very frosty outside - crispy grass and even the mud had a layer of crunch to it. Orange sunrise in a cloudless sky.

Today I have not got the ne project arrive, which is annoying, and also useful, since friend and small child have decided to visit (I agreed - they didn't just announce it). So that will be nice, and I'll pay for it in cramming the work in when the project does arrive, along with an expected one that has been unexpectedly brought forward Again, I could always say no, but, you know - work, freelancing. The usual terror of saying 'no' and then they never ask you again.

I went for my heart scan this afternoon. I was in and out in no time unlike the HBFs They obviously don't want people hanging around. I was dreading it as I had a male sonographer or whatever they're called last time and he was really heavy-handed with my ribs, but I had a lovely lady this time.
