Blue sky and sunny again - hurrah!! BFH is on his third breakfast. Or maybe fourth. I'm not sure if he brought the same mouse in twice. And he's forgotten to put his tongue away. What is it with cats and leaving their tongues sticking out? Don't they notice it's getting dry/cold?

LOL at jigsaw confusions. So many jigsaws, so little time. Sadly not a problem we have with HBFs.

Afternoon all.

I feel the need for a sticker, like the dentists used to give out. The "I was brave today" sort of thing. Except mine will say "I did my tax return (and scheduled the payments)" Hurrah for getting that out of the way.

Obviously, I'd prefer a 100% accurate sticker that says "I did my HBF", but that is even less achievable than the tax return.

Now I need to get the washing off the line, where it may be slightly drier than when it went out, if I'm lucky.

Evening. I put the bedclothes on the line, but they still needed a wizz round the tumbler when I brought them in.

Note to self: Don't arrange two things on the same day. My car was in for service this morning and we got it there for 9 o'clock and it should have been ready for mid-afternoon. DH had a dental appoinment at 5 o'clock, so that should be fine. However, he phoned the garage this afternoon and they said it wouldn't be ready until 5 o'clock. Consequently he had to drop me off and I spent half an hour outside the garage in the dark in a dodgy part of town waiting for it. All very stressful.

I do enjoy it when someone walks past me whilst I’m covering another person’s job before I go back to do my own, leaving work —early— and says that it’s been an okay day hasn’t it, not too busy? That’s because some of the stuff you should have been doing, you told people to send to me/people won’t ask you because it won’t get done for about two weeks if at all. I may have strongly expressed how busy I’d been.

Called to see dad on the way home. He seems a lot better than what he was yesterday so that’s a relief. Still need to find out what went on.

The mini jumpers are the Save the Children pattern they put out for Christmas Jumper Day a few years ago, but there’s loads on YouTube and stuff. That’s where I got the mini stocking pattern.

Hurrah for Friday today and Saturday lie-in tomorrow. DH had weird dreams last night - tell me to look behind [somewhere?] No idea what was going on but he woke me twice. And I had an odd one too, though I can't remember it I'm fairly sure there was no FAF anyway.

Hope all's well up with Fancy's Dad and he's been allowed home.

Still in the land of no internet. Dad has been thoroughly checked out and no major issues, one further test scheduled for this afternoon and then hoping he will be allowed home. Stepmum still in a right state which is why I'm still here. Hoping to go home tomorrow to at least get some 'holiday'!

Not slept well because of DH’s epic snoring nearly all night.

Today I need to pack for RoadTrip and do all the usual domestic stuff. Also, there's a local craft fair so I may go for a nosey if I can get my act together in time.

In other news, I've given up on my coat hunt and ordered one online on the basis that I can always send it back. ermmmm. That's about it.

Oh - also LinkedIn tells me that 24 people found me via a search A quick look at the first few companies that they'll show me for free, gives me the distinct impression that I'm not the person they were actually looking for
