I went to Lidl this morning and was very cross with myself as I have a £5 voucher on the app and forgot my phone. I'll have to go again before it expires.

Evening wenches. Funny old day. Bit of emergency early morning in that dad got taken to hospital. Some kind of seizure possibly but they’re not sure what so he’s staying overnight for tests. So I didn’t go to work (day’s leave) and we’ve been taking turns MumSitting. She’s spoken to him and said he sounds perky and more like himself. I’ll keep the cattle prod charged for nosy feckers tomorrow though.

Headache went, thank goodness, and I went to the library today and got lots of books to take on my Road Trip. Also dropped stuff of at the charity shop which has been piling up in a corner of the room, so that was good. I could ebay stuff... that would involve reactivating my selling account, and the last time I sold stuff it just turned into such a hassle that I can't be arsed.

That's irritating Apricot - I had that at Tesco when I discovered that my clubcard was at home so I didn't get the clubcard prices. If I remember, I can take the receipts in and doing it retrospectively, Chances of that are slim though. (Sieve-for-brains)

Seems to be a day of dad-drama Mine fell and bumped his head today - seems ok, still in hospital as they are checking him over thoroughly. StepMum is pretty hysterical & DSis is on her way there. Hope you get some good news soon letus

I have to get dressed and out the door for work, so FurryBlackHole has just jumped on to start kneading and purring. Though, to be fair, this is also the first time I've sat down. He's also been up a tree while I was doing the chickens/collecting windfalls, and then demanded to be helped down (much piteous mewing) - cue me standing there like the Statue of Liberty (without the torch) while he walks down may arm, across my shoulders and jumps to the ground... then shoots straight back up said tree. DaftKitten.

Dad is apparently being kept in again - he seems fine but the hospital wants another scan to be on the safe side and they've not had a free slot all day. DSis needs to go back to work tomorrow so I am driving up this evening, so much for a week off Parents have no internet, so limited wenching is possible too

Felt a bit meh today, november, grey, so ordered a coupe of jigsaws so that cheered me up.
