I think M&S delivery costs are quite reasonable Wicked, or at least they used to be.

DH has gone off to be sporting, DS in on the xbox, and I'm in a similar position to LetUs on the sofa.

Do the companies charge a excessive amounts for delivery Wicked, is it just generally that postage costs are high?

Unfortunately M&S don't deliver bisquits, chocolates etc to Sweden, which is what I'm after, but I might order some Christmas decorations and the delivery cost for that is only about £9 so that's great.

There are som places online where you can order British food and I have done so several times even though the delivery costs were quite high cause I was desperate but I'm trying to be a bit more economic now. The last time I ordered the delivery cost were around £20. And now you have to think about customs as well.

I found these really cute Walker shortbread tin on Amazon.uk and the delivery were only £199

We're watching Showtrial. I don't know whether I like it, but we'll stick with it. Robin's husband from Strike is in it with an Irish accent which is a bit confusing.

Am on my way home, have had a lovely weekend away - a bit hectic with staying at different places and seeing different people, but lovely to catch up with people I have not seen for ages. Am on the train home now, enjoying a last look at the countryside where I grew up.

Today I got a single pack of online shopping when I'd ordered a double-pack (but customer service are on it like a wench on a HBF - aka 'at the speed of light' so that's ok), and a relative has asked if I know how far it is to FarAwayPlace and, will I be driving? and to make sure I take lots of breaks on the trip because it's a long way. Does relative think I'm 6 and have never left the local area?! I'm sure that relative meant well, so I shall laugh affectionately at them and rein in my disbelieving 'WTF are you thinking you loon' reaction. But still .

I think I shall mostly be hibernating tonight. Or playing wench Cluedo (SisterHelen and Athos in the Hayloft with a large weapon - )
