Todays tasks are furniture shuffling and fruit processing.

Evening. Busy day, drove 1,5 hour to my mom, I love driving my car so that’s no problem. Helped her with some stuff since she’s moving soon. Then food shopping. On the couch now watching trashy telly while drinking wine and eating cheese doodles.

Today I have been mostly knitting. Did you sort out your colour change LetUs? If it's a motif or a small amount of pattern I do Swiss darning afterwards. I find it easier than dragging the yarn across the back of the work which I always pull too tight.

Hope you get your extension WW. Sounds lovely.

Also hope the TavCats and chickens are alright.

We've had more fireworks, but the cats are indoors with TV noise, so don't care.

It was just straightforward colour changing in stripes Apricot. Swapping back and forth between two different colours but I wanted it to be neat. I’ve finished it now.

Helen she’s sold her house on the countryside and bought an apartment in the nearest town, not far at all.

Hopefully the cats won't argue too much while we're out.

Lots of ironing, yet more homework, parent visiting, might try to fit in some baking. So a good first step would be having a shower and getting dressed.

She’s moving to the town nearest to her so she’s still about 1,5 hour away from me. One of her grandsons live in the same apartmentbuilding so that’s good.
I visited a friend who recently bought a house, very nice. She also have two adorable cats 😍
We went out for amazing thai food and then coffee at her place

I’ve baked some biscuits, done the ironing (which I’ve just realised I haven’t taken upstairs), homework wrangled and parent visited. Started that new series of Dalgliesh. Excellent.

Not quite sure where the weekend's gone though. I mean I am, and I've got stuff done, but it doesn't feel like I've had two days of weekend. meh.

Glad to hear that knitting and laundry etc have all been done. Since we've all been so domesticated/productive this weekend, we're due a reward from the relevant HBFs... That's a nice thought to go to bed with

Had a random dream about trying to catch the school bus last night.

I know I have working various emails waiting for me, but I'm feeling very unmotivated to do anything other than slouch on the sofa or bed and snooze. Adulting is very tedious most of the time.

Evening. Just come back from having the flu jab. Not only did they miss me off from the texts to book an appointment, but they didn't mark me as having arrived at the surgery and I had to wait 40 minutes while others were coming in, having their jab and leaving. Got there in the end though. Don't know what's happening to GPs lately.
