Afternoon although it looks like evening out there. Nice sunny day, but very cold. We also had a ground frost overnight.

My GP surgery forgot about me for the flu jab. DH had his about three weeks ago and I had to phone them up about mine. It's scheduled for next Monday. I always get a painful arm from jabs.

Hope you had a better day today WW although the fika with neighbours sounds nice.

Got talking to NiceColleague about knitting today. Going to give her a brief knitting lesson tomorrow lunchtime.

Evening all. Bit of a chilly day, but the washing mostly dried on the line. Tried to go out for a lunchtime bike ride with DH but his bike had a puncture, so we had a lunchtime walk instead.

I got a text to book in for a flu jab as well. HBFs will have to do lots of kissing better

I'm thinking about a hot bath and early night... DH has just put BakeOff on. Choux nuts are a thing, apparently.

Morning. Proper frosty out there today. Frost rimed leaves on the ground, etc. Clear blue sky as well. The washing is probably a bit solid on the line, but it will thaw/dry

Hope the knitting lesson went well LetUs. My aunt taught me when I was 8 and I've loved it ever since. I find it very relaxing.

Our roadworks are still going on, so it was a bumpy ride home from Lidl this morning.

I’m carrying on with something I started ages ago but I’m going out one evening next week and want to wear it.

It's doing the rainy/windy thing here and HyperactiveKitten doesn't know what to do with himself. He's got too much energy and keeps racing outside, then barrelling back in because the weather's not nice.

Work was work-ish. Proofreading a report and spreadsheeting. I like the idea of work knitting lessons. I have to do some sort of course about fraud and finance, or something. Not quite as enticing. I also forgot to contact the GP about my flu jab. Ho hum.

Morning all. It's wet. There was a short downpour while I was out doing the chickens. My glasses had to be dried off, but on the plus side, Houdini left the compost heap and ran for the coop without me having to fetch her in. AttackKitten also sprinted for the house (and is now curled up, purring in my dressing gown.

There were Northern Lights last night, but not here, obvs. #AuroraEnvy

Finally managed a remote watch-along of Lucifer with DD last night - it quite reminded me of early Tav days. Although not nearly as filthy or chaotic

Afternoon. Lovely day here. I had the window open in DD's old bedroom where I sit to knit, read etc. and it was really hot on my face although it was only 8 degrees outside.

I didn't know about the Aurora so didn't look outside although no-one's reported seeing them round here. I've never seen them.

I could never keep up with the remote TM watches. I don't know how everyone watched and commented at the same time.

Evening. It's been miserable here - rain and rain and rain. Glad that some people have seen the sun today though.

That sounds rather lovely Apricot. I did some more knitting tonight. Need to watch a YouTube video to see how to change colour yarn for a few rows. I’ve done it before but it was guesswork and I’m sure there’s a better way of doing it.

Morning all. Quite nice outside just now - a few clouds, but lots of blue sky too. No frost.

So far this morning I have fed chickens/cats/birds/child/myself and herded a mouse out from under the piano and into a box. It's gone back outside. AttackKitten is most unimpressed, but not so much that he isn't snuggled into my armpit Wierdo

I popped out for some shopping, which was pointless because what I wanted wasn't in stock. That was the highlight of my day.

Met up with the landlord at the cottage, he had a change of plans, instead of just doing an extension for the bathroom he’s doing a bigger one so I also get a small bedroom, which is great! I just hope it’s not just talk and something actually happens. If nothing has happened until spring I’m going to look for something else.

So far this evening I have mostly been a cat bed for FancyCat who is unimpressed with the fireworks. ScaredyCat is nowhere to be seen, probably under a bed. Being a cat bed was a good excuse to sit around and watch a programme on Simon and Garfunkel
