Good news about the appointment LetUs; at continuing UTI Apricot

I have been (hopefully) exercising the aches off by yomping across the sunny cloudy uplands and scrambling up rocks.

Is sunny here and DS2 slept in until gone 8.30!

Lots of washing to do as got clothes down from the loft for DS2 so they need rinsing through. Trip to the supermarket and then not much else other than sitting in the garden I think.

Morning all. It's sunny and pleasant and no other bugger is up. (Which means that DS is awake and plugged into his switch/phone, of course.)

I can't do washing because, not my house. Today we progress to Chez Elk - hurrah!!!

Afternoon. Am positively square eyed now, probably quicker to list what I haven't watched tbh. Did manage to squeeze in some gardening earlier - thought I better had as it's relatively dry out there. Plus a long branch came down over the weekend and needs breaking up.

Afternoon. Not much sun today, but at least it kept dry.

DH took DGS to play golf this morning which he enjoys so that enabled me to do sod all.

There’s a lot to be said for doing sod all Apricot. I’m waiting for it to be in the Olympics so I can claim my place on the podium.

Been to a pub quiz with LittleSis. Just us two on our team so we were —mostly— pleased with second place by 2.5 points. Quiz prize was the feeling of superiority of having won the quiz. Then there was music bingo. I got a full house and won some money

New fridge freezer due tomorrow woohoooo!

I’m meant to be clearing through DS2’s schoolwork from last year with him. Also need to clean behind where the old fridge freezer was. Washing up needs doing. Instead I’ve been glued to the speed climbing which was bonkers

DH thinks he's found the electfical fault, but it involves my work station in DS's old bedroom coming out so I'll lose my computer for goodness knows how long.

It’s been lovely here too. Two hours ago I was sitting outside reading a book wondering whether I should really put on some suncream. We’re currently in the middle of a thunderstorm with allll the rain and the garden’s flooded.

Still, I have a lovely new fridge freezer!

Haircut this morning then shopping for walking boots for both DC. Might do a charity shop drop off too. And some baking now that I have a fridge big enough to rest the cookie dough!

The electrical fault would appear to be mended and we're now in the process of putting the house back together again.

Hurrah for the new Fridge-freezer LetUs - I hope the cleaning up went well before you fitted it in. And also hope that the garden has recovered from flooding.

We actually had a good day yesterday - despite being stuck in traffic for hours and also queuing for hours to go on rides, and a profusion of empty hand sanitising stations But it didn't rain on us and the small people had lots of fun (and so did the big people, expect for this bits when we felt bit queasy after too many spins on the roller coasters).

We had a long and tedious drive home, taking various detours for traffic jams and giving he SatNav a nervous breakdown If it was an actual person it would have resigned in a huff.

I suspect our journey today will be similar Helen as I know there’s road closures very close to our destination so we’ll be going all round the houses to get there.
