Evening. Not much homework for DS thank goodness, since he's currently stuck at A&E with broken wrist DH is on parental duties and I get to sit by the phone waiting for updates...

My solution to having a shitload to do today is to sit on the settee doing nothing. I think I need to break it down task by task because as it stands it’s just this mass of Stuff.

Morning (at the moment). DS is understandably grumpy - he can't use his xbox controller properly and he can't do sports, but apparently he can go to school on Monday.
Not much sleep was had last night. On the plus side they haven't called him in for an immediate operation (they may save that for after fracture clinic next week )
Have no idea what I'm up to today, need to get some food in though.

Afternoon. A very unpleasantly early start for a Saturday so I could drop my car in at the garage. Nothing wrong with the tyres apparently, and the garage didn't charge me and reset the warning light. We shall see if it comes on again......

Afternoon wenches. Overcast here, but quite warm. We've just been a walk along the beach, and I've now got blisters on my toes as I brought trainers I haven't worn for ages.

DS fell over at SportingActivity - bloody stupid accident. He put his arm out to catch himself and broke it He's spent the day being grumpy as per above, and I've spent the day not getting much done. Been nice weather though. I did get out to get some shopping and couldn't get anywhere near the supermarket for idiots panic buying fuel. FML etc.

Morning all. in today's news my back is buggered because I carried heavy shopping bags too far yesterday (I can't think what else caused it) so I am grumpy. DS had me up in the early hours because he couldn't sleep - couldn't get comfy, his arm itched... it's going to be a looooong six weeks And the keyboard is also buggered still. Must pull my finger out and sort something out.
For now I'm going to introduce my back to Mr ibuprofen and go back to bed.

Sunny here. DS2 had a mega lie in which is great but puts things behind for fitting homework around activities.

I have spent most of the day pootling about the house and garden - the weather turned out to be quite nice.
Still haven't worked out what to do about the keyboard though. I'm starting to think it might be easier to just buy a new basic laptop.
DS also seems a lot chirpier today - he's not had any painkiller, but did fall asleep on our bed until about 11 this morning.

Hello wenches, we're home. It was chucking it down this morning so I didn't do any washing. Blue sky now.

You know all that time DH spent researching the energy suppliers and decided to stay put? Well they've gone bust. Goodness knows where we'll end up. To be fair, we've had relatively cheap energy for some time, so that's probably why it's happened. Eeeeek!
