Afternoon. It looked reasonable this morning so I did a wash load. As soon as I began to peg it out it started raining, so it all went in the tumbler. Still raining now.

Have managed to get petrol which is a relief as I only had enough for one more day to and from work.

Out out tonight. At a gig! First for ages.

Evening. I got caught out by the rain too apricot though mine did get mostly dry on the line.

DS has had his arm checked out and doesn't need to go back for another 10 days, so that's good. He has negotiated another day off school with DH, so I'm not overly impressed about that, because we all know who will have to feed/supervise DS tomorrow, don't we. (handy hint - not DH!)

Otherwise (in between supervising DS doing some homework) I have been working. Now I shall shoot out for a quick bike ride, because the waistband of my jeans tells me that I have been eating too much chocolate and drinking too much red bull.

And I have still not got my head around whether to get a new keyboard or just a new laptop. (I think that wrangling a separate tablet and keyboard on the sofa will be a bit awkward, hence, maybe a new laptop would be better. hmmm... )

morning all. it's sunny just now, but ye gods - the rain last night! I think we had 1cm combined with gusting wind. It was hitting the bedroom wind, so it might have sounded worse that it was, but there was literal spray being blown on the wind where it hit the ground, bounced and got caught in the wind! All very dramatic anyway.

Glad the gig was good last night LetUs. I'm sure the HBFs can help with aching feet. in the meantime you'll have to make do with

Afternoon. Nice day here, but bloody cold. I did some tidying up in the garden this morning as it's bin day, but I was frozen.

I've been for my booster jab this afternoon. I only booked it yesterday. We also saw a petrol station on the way back which had diesel and no queue, so DH had what was allowed, £35 worth. He was getting a bit low as we've been to Wales, pootled around there and come back since he filled up. My car's only got about 15 miles left so I'll hang on until all the fuss blows over.

wind and rain here, and I have been out this evening to huddle in a pub garden with friends, and it was lovely to see them all.

Also very windy here helen, and pretty chilly this morning too.

Today is my Friday - so that means a 4 day weekend. Only I will need to catch up on the work I didn't get done today as I was helping one of the newbies this afternoon. I was able to get one of the others, who's working for me next week, to do some work that should save me a bit of time in the future though which was good.

Petrol is very hard to come by here, but there's no shortages according to our esteemed Government bunch of twats so that's alright then.
