Some rather impressive lightning this afternoon, so I am happy. Washing is now so bloody wet I ought to bring it in and spin it again. Ought to, but can't be arsed. Ho hum

Ah well. Morning all. It's lovely and sunny out there, if a tad chilly. Don't think there was a frost though, so phew for the plants.

So, I was browsing online yesterday, looking for a new toilet brush - did you know you can get them in silicone now? No more soggy paper getting stuck to it, etc. (Yes, my life is that exciting.) This morning, I woke up from a massively detailed dream where I was trying to choose/buy a new toilet brush.TOILET BRUSHES! I mean - FFS subconscious, really?! Of all the things that occupy my mind, my stupid brain thought that those were top of the list of things worth devoting a dream to. (There were hundreds of the bloody things in different colours, styles and materials - plus prices.) I despair, I really do. I mean, excellent effort in terms of the details and logic that would work in the real world - but the subject matter? NO!!!

We're going to the caravan tomorrow. Weather looks crap, but it will be a welcome change of scenery. No idea what the wi-fi is like this year so if I am absent, you know where I am.

at the toilet brush dream. Brains are weird. I had a dream which combined sort of Motherland with Line of Duty, a main feature of which was trying to find shortbread biscuits in M&S for my auntie and coming out of the shop to see someone getting deliberately run over by a van.

Work was immeasurably shit but whatever.

Today's discovery was that local charity shops don't want my box of random stuff because they're full stocked with other peoples' random tat. (Or the ones that I asked didn't - it started raining and I couldn't be bothered traipsing up the high street to ask al of them.) Other than that - work.

The biggest downside to not working on Monday is that all workplace drama in my office seems to happen on Mondays. Much muttering in another department today that I didn't have explained to me until the end of the day. Mind you I did spend much off the afternoon with headphones in so I could drown out someone's fucking aeons long phone call with some music

We had a work get-together at my house, because we're not allowed back to the office yet and we're also not allowed to meet up in person for work without a risk assessment so it was purely social. Obvs. And we didn't even mention work... So I worked to 8pm to make up time - we picked a bad week to take time out of the day for meeting up. It didn't rain, but we had several thunderstorms roll past rumbling loudly at us. Also, very few cakes were eaten because everyone was very polite and brought extra food, so cakes all round for the Tav .

I hope that Apricot's had decent weather But still, like she said, even if it's not nice weather, it's 'Not nice weather in a different place'

Sad news though wenches. Alas poor Houdini (So Scruffy had better hatch some chicks from the eggs she's sitting on.)

Hope that Fancy has had a lovely day of no phone conversations. And work has been less shit LetUs.

Didn't actually pay close attention to Sewing Bee (was sudokoing) But there was a rather nice dress, and a waistcoat that I liked the look on. (The camouflage outfits were just a bit weird.)
