I'm planning to do washing and shopping tomorrow. This assumes I get my arse in gear to strip beds first thing and get a load on before I head for the supermarkets. Life seems very quiet just now, not much to report on.

Had a dream where Fancy was replaced as presenter of the Wimbledon highlights show by Boris Becker. You weren’t right happy about it Fancy, and neither was I. Nothing against Boris but we felt it was unacceptable.

Morning all. at random Wimbledon dream. Mind you, I was serving up cake to the Royal family and asking about their new babies (Beatrice and Eugenie had produced one each). Go figure

It's lovely and sunny here again. In wildlife news, I am making mountains out of molehills, because there are so many that they will be a mountain when I've piled them all up together. Washing can't go on until DH is out of bed and I've apologised to StupidCat for turfing her off while I strip it.

Afternoon. Cloudy but quite warm. It's gone very dark now.

Music is still blasting today, but I'm not outside so it doesn't matter.

DH has been up the holly tree, pruning it. He's finished now. Phew!

One eBayer paid last night. Yay! So I left it as late as possible to take the parcel to the post office. Checked before I left that the other one hadn't paid. Got back, yes, they'd paid. So four sales have generated three visits to the post office which cuts into the minimal profit. I do try to combine other jobs so did an early food shop.

I bought a swede at the supermarket today - I suspect we're not talking about the same sort of Swedes though (buttery mashed swede is lovely!)

It's raining but also quite humid and muggy. Today I seem to have wasted much time, but I did do the shopping and got three loads of washing through the machine and dry on the line, so that's productive. I also got a new client, but they haven't sent me the work yet. pfft. Annoying people.

Grrr at ongoing loud music and multi trips to the post office because of people.

I used some of that Doctor Beckman washing machine cleaner stuff on Tuesday night. Didn’t really make much difference. Did a wash on Wednesday and now the whole of downstairs has a really cloying floral smell. So either my washing liquid has a new formula or it’s because of the cleaner thing. Hope it’s the latter and it goes soon because it’s really fucking irritating.

Smell is lingering but not as headache inducing. Really hoping it’s not a change of washing liquid formula.

We’ve had rain again but I am excited by the prospect of warm, dry weather this weekend so lots of washing to do. I’ll get the beds stripped tomorrow - the utter thrillz of it all . Am also baking again tomorrow when I will be attempting two colour buttercream piping. Ooooooo!

Evening. It's turned out a lot nicer than the weather started, but it's still feeling very muggy. DH's car is in the garage over the weekend, unexpectedly, which is unfortunate since this weekend I actually need my car to go and see a friend, and DH and DS have SportingThings both days. There is much car-shuffling going on.

Wildlife report - woodpecker feeing its baby (fully fledged) on the feeder, and a newly fledge robin being confused in the conservatory. And a small kitten tiger stalking my fingers as I type. There maybe typos ahead....

Other than that, not much to report. Work was workish, my new client has sent me a NDA to sign and, um... that was that really.e333333333333333333rza\xbgt #:@LI9U\ZL.......

We had a Family Summit this morning. DS and DD had a rather major falling out last week and DS suggested they come here this morning to each put their cases and thrash it out with us as referees counsellors. It's all sorted now.

Baking did not go quite as well as hoped. Buttercream issues. They look not too bad but they do taste okay so I suppose that’s the main thing.

Nice-ish weather on and off but it’s now gone rather cloudy and looks like it might chuck it down.

Our weather was much like chez LetUs, so nice for a long walk - about 6.6 miles including backtracking when the path vanished into head high nettles and grass! My legs feel a bit achey...

It is damp and misty and it rained overnight. CuteKitten is killing some discarded foil somewhere (interspersed with scampering circuits of the room, over and across whatever's in his path - furniture, me, books... and has managed to draw blood - bugger.), StupidCat is not stupid and has retreated upstairs. Also, my tablet screen is flickering in an alarming way

Quite cloudy this morning so I’ll get the ironing done early. Had the recurring dream where my car was stolen so that was nice. And DS2 is being a mega ratbag every time I mention homework so I’m just not going to say anything and leave him to it. If something gets missed or he doesn’t give himself enough time, not my problem.
