Evening. We had 1/2 inch of rain overnight last night, and mizzly/drizzly for the morning. Then it just stayed cloudy.

It's been a busy day and I am pooped. StupidCat still hates CuteKitten and decided to take a swipe while he was curled up on my neck/shoulder which wasn't in the slightest bit stressful. DH decided that Sunday night would be a good time to try and set up DS' new phone, so that wasn't stressful at all either.

I think I shall retreat to the hayloft for some shenanigans with HBFs peace and quiet....

Afternoon. Pleasant day with light cloud and sunny intervals. Yes, longest day, the weeks do seem to be flying by. It's all downhill now until the C-word always the pessimist.

I did a washload and went out later to find half of it on the terrace. I must get some new pegs, they all keep breaking. I think it's the sun or something. Anyway, it's all dry and ironed now.

Oh - there we go - he's woken up and snuggled next to me instead of on my arm.

I did washing too today, but didn't bother hanging it out since it looked dull and drizzly. The last times I got pegs they've either gone brittle in the sun and snapped, or just not got enough grip on them. Sometimes I think about buying expensive Lakeland ones.

I sold 4 items on eBay over the weekend and two of them haven't paid. It really annoys me. You don't go into a shop and say 'I want that but can you keep it for me and I'll pay when I decide to'. So rude. I know I can cancel the sale after 4 days, but I want to get rid of the items and they're packed. Grrrr...

PS wildlife report, bumblebees do sting if you squish them on accident (thus proving my "I've never been stung by a bumble, you have to really annoy them" comment.) I'm hoping that the bee is none the worse for it - it seemed ok when I put it back on a flower...

Wildlife report - CuteKitten is an overexcited terror. The bee sting is itchy and annoying (have slapped on antihistamine).

DH came back last night and said "I assume you know the football scores?" Sometimes I wonder who he thinks he's married to I think my baffled look told him enough - i.e. No, I hadn't even remembered that there was football on.

Afternoon. Sunny day today. I got the washing done and went outside on the lounger. Unfortunately, MerryWidow is having yet more work done outside. She also has a fuck-you sound system in her summerhouse and it's been thumping all day. I had to go in in the end as it gave me a headache.

The eBayers still haven't paid. It is a minefield Helen, but I carry on with it as I have the time and a house full of rubbish. I don't get many non-payers but it's weird that these two listings ended just an hour apart.

I've read episode 1 of that thread and will continue. Might have to have a rewatch some time. Hope the bee sting is calming down.
