Afternoon. Beautiful day so I was motivated to do jobs. Unfortunately, it was one of those days when I start something, get side-tracked and start something else, then somehing else, and end up exhausted with 10 unfinished jobs. Ah well, there's always tomorrow.

It's clouded over now and there is a warning of thunder here too.

Got my car back with a new battery. The warning light thingy would cost a fortune to fix, about £1300 so I skipped that. The car is safe to drive so that’s the most important thing. My car isn’t even worth 1300 Oh, and so glad that the AC isn’t working when we’re getting up to 30-31 degrees

Afternoon. We had rain overnight, but no thunderstorms. It's been cloudy all day. The ten jobs still aren't finished.

I went with DH to the driving range this morning to video his golf swing so he can see where he's going wrong. He was fine, ball went straight down the middle. It's like when your car's making noises and when you take it into the garage it doesn't do it. Anyway, he's feeling more positive about it now, thank goodness until tomorrow.

We then went a walk around the lakes and woodland in the village-up-the-road. I didn't get us lost. Not at all.

Foot cramp is awful LetUs, I get it sometimes and have to jump out of bed and hop around the room.

Lots of me internally screaming at work today “STOP BEING SUCH NEEDY WHINING FUCKERS”

I did the leaping out of bed with bad foot cramp whilst shouting the other night Apricot. I think I rather frightened DH . I try to get away with not getting out of bed even though my brain’s saying “just get out of bed, it’ll be quicker”.

I am imagining StupidCat laughing behind their paw. CuteKitten can join me at work. Looks like his IT skills are at a high enough level.

I’ll have a look at those trailers later.

Work was ok, got done what I wanted, though I didn't feel overly productive - lots of faffing about.

Morning all. 1.2 cm of rain overnight and it's still going. But steady/heavy - not torrential.

Wildlife report - random hare running up the road as I happened to look out of the window; damp birds; grumpy chickens (the chicks have the undercover area at the moment, so chickens stay in the coop, or get wet (until I let them out in the outdoors run and they can hide under trees).

Hurrah for friday - I'm knackered. The kitchen sink is glugging, so I took off the U-bend last night to check there first. Put it back on and then a complete different joint started leaking, FFS. So I called the HBFs DH in to help with muscle. and brainpower. Much time and ptfe tape was spent mucking about with that, so then I lost track of time, sat down with book, and found that it was 12:20 the next time I looked up

Also, I have a massively itchy mozzie bite. FFS etc.

I tried to go to Sainsbury's this morning and the battery was flat again. What is it with wenches and battery trouble? I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get a new one even though it's only 3 years old.

Haha Helen, that's exactly what DH said about going to golf with him. Errr, no. Anyway he had a good game today so perhaps it's sorted. Weird game.

Think we shall be watching footall this evening.

Evening all. 1.5 inches of rain today I think - it's a bit soggy! and about 13 degrees to Wicked's 31! (Actually, it's not really that cold - just no sunshine.)

The sink Isn't as bad as it was and I have been busy working/not going outside in the rain, so I haven't investigated the outside pipe.

I have done tidying and cleaning and holding ladders while DF cleans out blocked gutters, and now I'm sitting on the sofa. CK has been running about like a mad thing and then keeled over from exhaustion and is snoring next to me
