I’m glad it’s not just me and DH being a bit bamboozled by LoD Apricot. We’re enjoying the ride though and once this is finished, we’re planning to do series 1-4.

Was asked to draft something at work. Drafted it and sent it for approval. Person in charge made small changes which were wrong but I’m at the stage where I think fuck it, you’re the one who’s supposed to know what you’re doing so I left it.

Couldn’t get to sleep till nearly 1 last night and it’s really caught up with me so early night is planned.

Have had a pleasant last day off - FancyMan came round & we had a short walk & painted one side of the shed. And also sat in the garden where one of the robins stared at me to express disapproval that all that morning's food had been eaten.

Morning. Its fairly solid high cloud here, with the odd patch where the sun attempts to break through. Wildlife report - I can scare pigeons off the bird table simply by turning my head to look at them. Now there's a SuperPower I never knew I needed.

Today I am mostly lacking in enthusiasm... unless there are wenches or HBFs involved.

Listened to an episode of No 1 Ladies Detective Agency from BBC Sounds on the way home so that was nice. I’ve also recently listened to Elvenquest which was very funny and Gudrun which was fascinating.

Rather frustrating visit with FancyCat to the vets in my lunchbreak - was due her vaccs, but the vet wouldn't vaccinate her because her allergies have flared up. Only they didn't have the steroid injection for her. Luckily they were getting some in after lunch so she stayed there for a few hours & DD picked her up on her way home. Seems FancyCat has some new members of her fanclub - lots of cooing over her 'cuteness' at the vets & asking if she wanted a cuddle while she was there. These are clearly people who have never seen her in fluffball of fury mode when she sees another cat

Romeo and Juliet was good - DS watched it with me and even said it was good Work-wise, not a bad day. Quite good actually - got a very happy client (because I'm just awesome, obvs ) and stuff got done. So it was a good day

Short day but dentist on the way home. It’s a close run thing as to whether I’d rather stay at work or go to the dentist.

She will need to go back, vet was a new one and not the most communicative and I forgot to ask how long to wait before rebooking

Afternoon. Cold and windy here. I went 'up town' this morning to get some stuff including cards as there are a lot of birthdays next month and I hate to leave it late and have to pay through the nose.

I bought some hoover brushes on eBay this afternoon for DH and now I've lost the classic layout of my selling page. They introduced a new one ages ago and I absolutely hate it, everything's too big and you can't see the overview. Google here I come.

Birthday cards! I’ve got out of the habit of going to the card shop in town and have been getting them from the supermarket, although to be honest Asda have had some nice ones which weren’t overly expensive. I’ll go back to using the card shops in town though.

I am imagining TavCats misbehaving and then doing the paw to chest, look of mock surprise “Me?! Behave like that? Nooooo”

StupidCat would not look all innocent. She would look up, glare and be all "What? And if I did?" She does a very good 'pissed off' glare. Even when she's happy. She has attitude and doesn't care who knows it. Though she's perfectly capable of being cute if she wants something.

Ebay keeps asking me for bank details Apricot, or I'll never be able to sell anything through them again tbh, the past few sales have made bog all money and been so stressful that I don't know if I'd want to anyway.

Morning. The weather forecast says it will start off sunny. Not here it didn't - all cloudy gloom, though the sun's trying to break through as I type. Wildlife status was mostly asleep (pigeons with their heads tucked down in their chests in the tree and on the wall) or hungry - landing on the table before I'd even stepped away. Hmmm. Hungry or tired - could be used to describe me too

I've been looking on some eBay forums. The classic layout has gone for ever. I've also had an email asking for bank details. It seems they're cutting Paypal out and will be sending payment for purchases direct to bank accounts less their fees. I regard my Paypal account as 'free money' and use it for purchases online, so I sell stuff I don't want to buy stuff I do. I'm not happy but if I want to continue to sell I have to accept it.

DH has been making soup again.
