Have been in the garden creating a new flower bed. The plants for it are on order so I thought I'd better create the space to put them in before they arrive, am now relaxing & watching one of the Foyles' War episodes I missed before. No faf

Morning. It is sunny and warm here, looks lovely so will do some more work in the garden later. Bin was up to 40 degrees yesterday ought to do some cleaning too but that's less enticing.

Have done visit to the parents, watched some TV, got my hair cut (woohooooo swishy!), and am now trying to relax before tomorrow’s return to work. Line of Duty tonight.

I have been out to BBQ which was very nice, but cold (I should have taken a duvet too Apricot!)

I have very stiff legs after yesterday's gardening (again) Hope that nothing's actually pulled. FFS at unfitness and how knackering gardening is.

Good news on the composter Fancy - our heap is spreading rapidly - it was boxed in, but I leant on the wood yesterday and collapsed under my huge weight The woodworm may have had something to do with it.

Afternoon. Sunny all day here, lots of washing done and I've been sitting outside this afternoon. Unfortunately the Merry Widow two doors away is having some more work done so I had to listen to nails being fired into something until it gave me a headache and I came in.

Also shouting at Line of Duty - shoot, ffs, SHOOT!!! It's all very tense and I still don't know who half the people they're talking about are, but it is compelling.

Evening. Finally got a moving date after I texted the cottage guy about it, and I also wrote that I wanted to sign a contract as soon as possible. I hope he doesn't fuck it up cause I contacted the realtor today and my apartment is online now. Eeeek! Feel a bit jittery!!

I actually posted an ad online this weekend about wanting to rent a cottage since I hadn't heard from the cottage guy and I got offered a really nice cottage and the landlady was really keen to let me rent it, I guess I sound like a reliable person But it's really close to their house and the broadband wasn't installed yet.

I seem to have spent a lot of time in our stationery room today. I was erm counting pens and straightening packets of paper. Took ages.

Grrr on your behalf Apricot. Why is it some people seem to have never ending very noisy work being done? Chap next door but one or two has been working on something with very noisy power tools in his shed for at least the last two years.

Good news about the move Wicked! Everything crossed for quick progression. What’s the likelihood of you getting a good quick sale on your apartment?

Sunny here already and the birds are very vocal.

The thing is he's not finished with the renovating of the cottage so I'm going to move in to a bigger house (for the same rent as for the cottage) on the same plot of land until it's finished. Wouldn't surprise med if it took another six months and I don't want to wait that long. I'm so finished with this place, I just want to move on.

I'm signing the contract from the 1st of June and it depends on how the sale of my apartment goes when I'll actually move in. I don't think it will be a problem selling this apartment, this size is quite popular and I also have my awesome balcony. Fingers crossed.
