Yay sunshine!
Am doing some work today so not getting to appreciate much of it, ho hum.

Lucifer & pink night was marvellous, I do approve of the waistcoat wearing, although a little more toplessness would go down well too....

Also 'Yay sunshine!' here now. It's turned out rather nice, so I've been in the garden waging war on the emerging nettles. Have also followed Fancy's example and made use of the compost - though I was filling in dips in the ground (sodding moles) rather than mulching. Now my back is a bit sore. Still, that's a distraction from the sore hip Dh has been to shops, DS has done a little bit of schoolwork.

DH has been to DS's to cut some slabs. Don't know whether you're allowed in someone else's garden, probably not, but they were wearing masks and keeping away from each other.

That gave me some peace a bit of time to sort out some eBay stuff.

Weather appears much the same as yesterday. Will do driveway visit and then get DS2 out for a walk. We didn’t go last weekend which was my fault because I couldn’t be arsed. Ironing also and then a bath whilst the football’s on. It’s a big match which I suspect will not go well so DH can deal with DS2’s attitude.

Afternoon. I have been out helping FriendWithHorses, and am now being a cat bed. I'll be painting a wall shortly. Also need to visit DF. And not do anymore sudokos, because I'm getting a bit obsessed.

Weather is high cloud and cool, none of yesterday's sunshine.

We watched half of Dave Allen, and have recorded the next programme. DS enjoyed it

Afternoon. We had some sun earlier which was nice.

Sudokus are good for the brain Helen, I also find them relaxing if I don't get mad at them.

Did bath’n’book. Football went massively better than expected so both DH and DS2 were very happy.

Watching Pottery Throwdown. Or trying to as DH has decided to be chatty.

Evening. This weekend went by fast. Mum and I drove to another town and donated some stuff to the var shelter and we also bought some stuff. Haven’t done anything special except that, just foodshopping and cleaning.

Probably PMT:ing right now, started thinking about the past and what I could have done differently and thinking about ”what happened to that person” etc.

Am shattered, It feels like DH spent the entire night waking me up to tell me that he couldn't sleep. Suspect he's in a worse state, but that doesn't help me.

Afternoon. Not a bad day, but it's still really cold. I went out to do some odd jobs this morning and was glad to get back in the house.

Well, I've got more past than the rest of you, but I don't think I'd do anything differently. Things haven't always gone as I would have liked them to, but it is what it is. You'd probably still be asking yourself the same question in other circumstances WW.

Quite chilly here too. Lots of rain. More fuck ups from senior staff who should do better which yet again NiceColleague and I have had to sort out.

Ah yes, nothing like an impending birthday for that Still, looking on the bright side, being over 50 puts me further up the vaccine queue

Bird update : was getting side-eyes from the robin when I opened the curtains this morning so fed them a bit earlier than usual. Had to put out second helpings and was rewarded with robins, blue tits, great tits, a pair of chaffinches and a very hungry nuthatch. Oh a coal tit - a special shout out to RSPB on International Women's Day for that one. Not. Was very puzzled by the coal tit as the ID guide said they could be distinguished by the white neck patch, which this one didn't seem to have. A bit more reading revealed that the MALES have the white patch, not the females. Way to go RSPB - forgetting about half the population

Oooh, I haven't seen a nuthatch for yonks. We do have lots of coal tits, though I hadn't noticed the difference between the males and females. #oblivious.
