Good afternoon, Clunkers!

Welcome to the Breakfast Club where the kettle is permanently on, the drinks flow and the snacks are both self-replenishing and calorie-free.

We start each day with a look at history and a tribute to a brave or inspiring woman. Mostly though, we just chat randomly about current affairs, recipes, life in lockdown, literature, music and anything else that comes into our heads.

Veteran Clunkers welcome. Anyone else who wants to join in the chat - sense of humour essential! - welcome.

I have found Div, DC and the others in the red place. I don't understand that place but will join and say hello. They are already asking where we are.

We need to make a decision. Not necessarily today but if we want to stay in touch, we have to think about the most effective way of doing that. Anyway, have a think. Back later...

I'd love to stay in touch with everyone but I'm not very techy and not familiar with many other forums.

I think Div said she was going to look into finding a place. If you have any ideas you could let her know

I linked to a thread in Chat about the closure of the other premises, and said ouch, and the post was zapped til they can look at it; yet the thread still stands.

I've temporarily lost the red place. Not sure whats happened to it.

Yes, it went well. She has half a plaster on now. Just to support where the old hairline fracture was.

Hot soapy water is still the best for cleaning.

I have had a look . I could see it this morning but not now. I did not have time to do it earlier.

This is strange. I'll never remember all these names but great to see so many have found your way.

We'll be ok, you'll see. We managed before and we'll manage again.
We're lucky to have MN to regroup. It's like holding your knife and fork in the wrong hands though, all clunky.

We have and so once we've got our underwear in the drawers we'll be fine.
