LetUsPrey · 07/10/2020 17:31

Thanks Apricot. Excellent new thread!

I’ll be under the duvet if anywench needs me. Don’t spill that wine Wicked Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 07/10/2020 18:24

Posting the pic from the other thread again so you really get to see what a disgusting pic I "found" Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 07/10/2020 18:25

I may have had a glass of rosé. DeliciousSmile

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 07/10/2020 18:56

I'm almost sorry I finished TB, it was so good.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/10/2020 19:04

Evening. I'm going to have to do something with the brightness/resolution on my screen, I can't see a bloody thing in the photo Wicked. Exactly how much Wine have you had? Hmm

Long busy day with the usual spreadsheet shenanigans. Every year we have to update this document, and every year the previous years' figures are incorrect in it. I'm taking over that part of the document from now on. Then there will never be a problem again. Confused

It stayed dry today Shock apparently there are meteors tonight, but only about 5 an hour, so I can't be bothered standing outside in the cold to look for them. (In the NW)

French Open is back on. Djokovich is playing. meh.

LetUsPrey · 07/10/2020 20:02

Terrible Wicked Shock. Also how big was the glass of rosé? Grin

There does come a point doesn’t there Helen when you just have to treat them like children and say “oh FGS I’ll do it”. Seems to happen quite a lot though.

Not really seen much of the tennis although Tsitsipas is still in it so I might given the semis a go

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 07/10/2020 20:13

Just a schmall one Letus Grin

LetUsPrey · 07/10/2020 20:33

Grin Wicked

Had a nice FaceTime with DS1 this evening. He’s been to the supermarket on the free bus and bought loads (according to him). He even took a list! Everyone in his flat appears to be behaving as in no mixing with other flats or colleges.

We’ve got an old episode of Would I Lie To You on. David Mitchell looks about 15.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/10/2020 22:37

We've been watching 12 Years a Slave - was very good. As a bonus, DS had been told to watch it for history, and said it was a good film. The Batch was also in it, being what passes for 'good' slave owner.

FancyFancy · 07/10/2020 22:55

Evening.
Fab new thread apricot thank you - what a wonderful theme Grin

Is it Friday yet? Less productive at work today so trying to gee myself up for tomorrow. Luckily this client is a nice one - really helpful and good at her job.

FancyFancy · 07/10/2020 23:17

nope - can't see very much either. Mind you, my eyesight is erm, increasingly challenged Grin

Anyhow, new thread means decorations needed....

Morning all.

Is that MrMuse lying on your sofa waiting for you Fancy? Wouldn't that be nice? re. 'challenged' eyesight - good point. I have an optician's appointment in a week or so. That night help.

It's cloudy and windy and rainy. Hibernation day I think...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/10/2020 07:55

PS - twitter says that Mank is out on Netflix on 4th December twitter.com/whatonnetflix/status/1313908434392305671

I need to find someone with Netflix, or get a free trial.

LetUsPrey · 08/10/2020 07:56

Morning wenches.

I’m probably due an eye test. I’ll add to the list of things I should do but probably won’t get round to for a while.

Never seen 12 Years A Slave, although I knew the Batch is in it. Wonder if DS2 will watch it, although they’re all about Hitler at the moment in history.

Nearly Friday Fancy, nearly.

Windy and rainy here too.

FancyFancy · 08/10/2020 08:08

Morning, that is MrMuse and yes, that would be very nice 😁 . We have Netflix here Helen, just move in for a bit.

More rain

ApricotCrush · 08/10/2020 17:51

Afternoon. Nice day here, although I haven't seen much of it.

I'm sick of everything going wrong, I seem to have spent all day sorting out problems. Angry

I'm still on the iPad with MN and that's another problem so I can't see your pic either WW.

Evening wenches.

I’m particularly fed up of people making shit up and telling lie upon lie and being generally fucking useless at their job, and that’s all one person.

And now DS2 is being a little sod.

Fuck it. Fuck it all.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/10/2020 20:24

Oh FFS, and Wine Gin [etc] for LetUs and Apricot We'll set the HBFs on the trouble-makers (Then we'll set them on you)

I spent the afternoon listing stuff on ebay - it's only taken me years a while, but if it doesn't shift then it's off to the charity shops.

Morning wenches. Friiiiiddaaayyyyyy!

Oooo I could definitely be Queenie in a strop, particularly if Aramis was thrusting his weapon and brandishing it about . Mind you, wouldn’t be in such a strop in that case.

Impressed with the ebay listing of stuff Helen. Even more impressed with illustration skills.

DS1 has asked me to send board games from what we already have here. I’ve asked him to narrow it down a bit.

Suppose I should have breakfast and get stuff ready.

FancyFancy · 09/10/2020 08:15

Morning.
I need to list a load of stuff too Helen, I've stalled again! Won't happen tonight though, hoping for a phone catch up with a friend, then prosecco and TV with DD.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/10/2020 08:20

Morning. Oooh - LetUs - I have some board games to get rid of - would DS1 like 'Shopping List' or Cluedo Junior? Grin

It's sunny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have Sunshine on Leith and no clouds or rain. Hurrah!!!!!!! Also, yay for Friday Grin

Oh - I saw last night that they're filming the 22nd series of Midsommer - how is anyone left alive in that place?! Or is it like (how I imagine) the Wicker Man is and they just bump off unsuspecting incomers, and keep their house prices low to encourage a steady stream of sacrificial and unsuspecting new residents?

Yarp....

If you want to send him something new Letus, we played this one up at DSis's over Christmas - her DS plays it with his mates. It's not short, so could be good for teens stuck in their flats together!

LetUsPrey · 09/10/2020 09:59

I did tell him I thought we still had Beetle knocking about somewhere. Grin We’ve got Cluedo Junior too. And Cluedo Sherlock but he’s not having that one. I’ll look that one up Fancy.

Hurrah for sunshine! We have Not Raining.

I think there’s about a billion villages in the county of Midsomer. Perhaps they don’t communicate with each other - internet might not be reliable or something. I love the Hot Fuzz scenario though Grin
