Last's night's headache is still in residence (woe is me, etc) and I've just phoned the vet to confirm what time they're expecting Inconvenient Cat - I had two times in my head, and it was neither of those. So just as well I checked.

Am in need of HBFs to distract me from the headache and generally provide tlc.

I also need to do the work thing.

Inconvenient cat did a runner just before we were due to leave, but came back at the sound of biscuits being rattled He almost certainly has a tumour, but he's happy enough in himself, so he's come home to be spoilt for as long as his kidneys/bladder hold up

Oh LetUs, same with DH and no golf. One of us gets up and makes a cuppa and then I get talked to for the next hour until it gets light. I just want to sit quietly and contemplate the day of doing bugger all. Grrr!

In other news, work has felt fairly relentless today with a huge dash of "Computer says no". Much swearing was done under my breath. I don't mind being told that something doesn't work, but given that their job title is 'support' I would also expect them to suggest, without prompting, an idea of what would work instead

I channelled the irritation into a fairly quick bike ride an lunchtime, but apart from that, I have been glued to the screen.
