DS1 did his personal statement at college with supervision by a tutor. I never went to university so I don’t know. LittleSis went but can’t remember whether she did one.

Rather tired this morning - lost an hour somewhere last night - I though the clock struck 11pm, and then discovered that it was midnight oops. Then had rather weird dreams involving work, and kept waking up from 5:30am in case I'd overslept. Hurrah. Not. Off to optician this morning, where they won't check my eyesight by producing ever-decreasing images of FAF, until I can't work out what's FAF and what's a Proclaimer

FFS wenches I am frozen. I've found some fingerless gloves, but they're not very easy to type in, and judging from where I found them, they haven't been used since I wore them at the stables. My keyboard is getting covered with horsehair. DH has just dumped an electric radiator next to me, I think he was sick of me complaining about being cold.

Had a stupidly busy day at work, with a lot of the afternoon spent putting a bill together but not necessarily with all the information I needed. So that was fun. Got it all to add up though to the right amount eventually.

We’re watching Brave New World well, we were when I started writing this. I’ve got Inside The Most Luxurious Hotels now. I’ve just seen someone scattering rose petals from the hotel room door to the bed and on the bed. I’m sure it’s very romantic but there’s a big part of me thinking “that’s made a bit of a mess”.

I did actually stay in a hotel once where they did that, and it was all very romantic. I think the same staff who scattered them, then had to sweep them off the floor/bedcover the next day.

Weather (so far) is overcast, but dry. I have to go out to BigCity... probably via SportingActivity. Except that StupidCat has just curled up on my lap, purring her head off. So I'm not allowed to move again, ever.

Was well tired yesterday, so being a bit lazy today - currently catching up with the Giro on my work laptop - otherwise I'd post some faf to belatedly cheer you up helen. Am contemplating doing some work later to try to get ahead of myself for next week.

It certainly is that time already letus, seems to have come round very quickly. I didn't have to do a personal statement, not sure when that requirement came in.

Afternoon wenches. We're back home, the caravan is put to bed for the winter and I now have a mountain of washing to do some time.

Strangely, I've had an email from my optician telling me I'm due for a test Helen but I think I'll leave it for now. I don't fancy going into town at the moment.

Evening. Probably are some idiots about today - I have either ignored them, or wiped them from my memory though, so that's a bonus.

I think you'd need to either trample the rose petals or put them on a damp surface for them to leave marks Wicked - rose petals don't tend to stain unless you try really hard. (Not like bastarding lily pollen which is indelible and poisonous to cats.)

I have done stuff today (laundry, apples, etc) and been out on my bike, so that means I've been productive. I still don't feel like I've achieved much though.
I think we should all spend tomorrow indoors with HBFs. And if they're wearing thick coats then we'll just have to unwrap them. Excellent.

Dry here at the mo, but I think it hammered down earlier this morning. Work up with a headache, took drugs, then woke up later and it was gone - hurrah!!! Think it might be thinking bout making a comeback though. Arse.

We also have homework to be done today. Hopefully he'll be amenable. Laundry probably won't feature since I did some yesterday. Shopping might though, since DS has been on a rack grown somewhat and his joggers are starting to look more like pedal pushers And the shops didn't have any when DH went looking yesterday.
