Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF.
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

Well more fool me for getting excited about laundry. No difference, nada, not a sausage. Left the clothes soaking for a couple of hours, put some Vanish in the main wash too and nothing. Sweat/deodorant stains still there, chocolate stain still there, exactly as before. It’s on the line now so I’m hoping the sunlight will help. Sun actually comes out occasionally too so 🤞🏻 Perhaps I need to leave them soaking for longer but they were in the bathroom sink. I’ll buy a separate bucket

Afternoon. It started off sunny and hot here, but soon disappeared.

I looked for the comet while we were away as there's a good view there, but it was too cloudy. I think it's too built up here.

DH has a dental appointment on the 30th and that's an urgent one. I didn't bother to ask about my problem. I have a routine appointment on 18th August so it will have to wait till then.

Waiting for roof people. Exciting plans today include a trip out to buy a bucket, and also an attempt to get DS2 to come for a walk.

Exciting plans for my day - an actual trip out for a socially distanced team meeting - which will involve sitting outside and having tea and cake. So I'm hoping that the weather stays dry, even if we don't get the 'warm and sunny' bit.

I also need to get DS to finish off the last bits of school work that he hasn't done. I'm not even going to bother trying to get him to go for a bike ride. Last night he whinged and didn't want to go on the usual 'longer' route, so I suggested a different one. He was happy with that so I didn't bother mentioning that it's exactly the same length as the other route. #DeviousParentingSkillz

LetUs - just make sure you keep the bucket away from Athos - we like our HBFs a bit on the grubby side, so he doesn't need to be soaked in vanish

Afternoon. Cloudy but warm here.

I've been a bit productive today, having done a pedicure, cleaned the oven, hacked some branches off the wisteria as it's bin day, and hoovered round. Don't know where that all came from.

Blimey Apricot! No wonder you’re exhausted. Athos suggests you have a drink and a lie down.

Not done much today. Didn’t much fancy a walk in the rain. Roof is coming along nicely and it’ll be finished tomorrow.

Am cracking on nicely with Lethal White and have looked up the cast. Looking forward to it.

Today’s excitement was buying a new prop and a bucket. Woo.
