Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF.
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

Birdsong’s lovely and all but I’m not that keen on it when the dawn chorus wakes me up because they’re all sitting by our open bedroom window, chirping away. I think some of them must have microphones. At least I got the chance for a lie in today though, DH has had to go to work so he was up early.

I’m determined I’ll be productive today. Clear some stuff out or something like that.

I felt a bit like that earlier helen - haven't achieved much yet apart from a bit of pottering in the garden.

Afternoon wenches. Mega-lie in here, and now I'm brunching. Then I ought to be mowing, but I may be mooching online. It was lovely here but now its clouding over

I had the weirdest dream. I was at a café with friends and I was flirting with Inspector Japp from Poirot Then I started putting all these plates in my handbag for some reason. I stacked them really carefully

Have been erm minorly productive so far.

Going to have a bit of a break by tidying some of the garden for a bit.

Afternoon. Cloudy this morning but it's gone nice now.

Taps still not done. DH isn't one to make a job easy. The hot water takes forever to come through so he's rerouting the pipework and also hiding some pipes that were visible before. Basically, he's replumbing the bathroom.

at birds with microphones. Bit worried about the robins, I haven't seen them for three days now.

Nothing going on around here, we're not really the sort of road to do a street party although everyone comes out on Thursdays for the clapping.

Beautifully sunny here. Going to do the ironing as soon as I’ve had breakfast then not much planned other than sitting outside with headphones on no doubt

DS2 is playing FIFA and asking “have you heard of this player? Have you heard of this player?”

Another weird dream, I was at the supermarket buying bacon, but I opened the package first to check it was ok. Then I didn't want to buy it because it was opened but I couldn't find another one

Also nice and sunny here, so I've put a load of washing on and it will probably rain later It hammered down last night actually, but can't have been for long since there wasn't much standing water when I fed the chickens this morning. No plans for today other than the usual gardening and ignoring the state of the house.

That sounds a bit like my day Helen, although I am planning on a walk with FancyMan later. Am making slow progress on clearing the garden rubbish. Tips are now open, but for rubbish that 'can't be stored safely' FFS, so garden waste doesn't qualify.

Bin update : internal temperature at a good 50 degrees yesterday.

Afternoon.

We've been really living it up here. Last night we were roped into a sing-a-long on the grass island by the house and ended up chatting with the neighbours for over an hour, socially distancing of course.

Lovely day, but no washing done as the water's been off. The wash basin which was being supported by a piece of wood fell off the wall because DH leant on it and the waste trap broke so he had to go out and get another. The taps are on now though and everything's being being put back together.

I’ve been in the garden all afternoon with my headphones on to block out the noise of the neighbours . Done a bit of reading and having a drink.

Watching Scream 4, didn't even know tjere was a 4th movie. Quite entertaining, don't think I'll be watching it again. Sipping on some duty free Baileys bought at Heathrow. Can't wait until this crap is over so I can travel again. Think I might travel alone to London and just do whatever I want.
