Lockdown rolls on, so we're staying in and isolating with the FAF. Grin
The bar is stocked, the floor has been mopped, the tables have been wiped, and the HBFs are however you want them Grin

(We're also doing lots of washing and gardening.)

Evening wenches.

Relatively okay day at work, got home and did French with DS2 which was fecking painful. If I have to do much more French with him, I demand the assistance of Monsieur Kevin.

. Pleased that you got a bit of a lie in though.

Your cat tale made me Grin Fancy.

ApricotCrush · 14/05/2020 18:11

Evening. Beautiful day here. We went for a walk round the lakes in the village-up-the-road. It felt quite strange, first time I've been out of the road for 2 months. We went to DD's after to collect some food she'd got for me and DH had a football kick-about in the road with DGS. All at a distance. I know you're only supposed to see one person, but we said we saw one person each. Hmm

Grin and awww at cat stories. I would love a cat but I don't think I could take the stress of vets etc.

LetUsPrey · 14/05/2020 18:39

Grin at one person each Apricot. Lovely for you to see DGS and your walk sounds fab

I’m watching Say Yes To The Dress at the moment but I’m waiting for Bob Ross and his painting on BBC4, and then later Pride and Prejudice is on (again) on the same channel.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 14/05/2020 19:23

Grin at your cat Fancy

I just remembered that when I visited Fräsan in her foster home, when she was a tiny kitten, she came dragging a pair of knickers in her mouth, apparently she liked to steal newly washed clothes from the drying thingy Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/05/2020 20:43

Hmm I wrote a post - I did.
Oh well. Its also turned into lovely weather here today, but I don't seem to have done much with it.

Had exciting supermarket shop, and (more excitingly) went to the local DIY shop as well. Whoop! Also did the usual bike ride which was a bit chilly when we went head on in the wind.

Watching 'The Truth About Amazon' at the moment. Most of it is unsurprising and nothing I didn't know (fake reviews, counterfit goods, Alexa listening and recording to absolutely everything in earshot...) Had no idea they streamed Tommy Robinson and Alex Robinson vitriol Shock. FFS.

Grin at Frasan and the laundry. You could train her up to empty the laundry from the machine. Because that’s how it works with cats obviously.

Unfortunately there are areas where I live where that sort of thing would go down a storm Helen.

We’re trying Brassic. Have seen trailers for series 2 recently so thought we’d watch the first series. It’s okay, quite funny.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 14/05/2020 21:59

at cat antics Grin

I'm off to they hayloft - night all.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 14/05/2020 22:07

Hayloft also for me.

Night lovely wenches

LetUsPrey · 15/05/2020 08:17

Morning wenches.

It’s Friiiiiiiiiddddaaaaaaayyyyyyyy!!!!!!! (I think Grin)

It’s sunny, but no idea if it’s chilly or warm.

DS2 coming with me again but at this rate he’ll be going in his pyjamas if he doesn’t get a move on.

Friday Friday Friday

Afternoon. Am officially happy - favourite garden centre visited and a fortune spent Grin

Say Yes to the Dress is strangely addictive Letus Smile

Aw at baby Frasan! My sister's cat steals toothbrushes - and not just from my sister's house!

Great to hear you managed a socially distanced meet up apricot, it sounded fab.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/05/2020 15:35

I also have a cat asleep on me.

This morning I put washing on and a cake in the oven before I started work. Mega-organised. Except the washing staying in the machine until midday because I forgot about it. FFS. I was very grumpy. At least the cake is nice.

Is it 5pm yet? I need a lie-down (with Athos or any other available HBFs on my list)

Afternoon. Cloudy and still rather chilly here. Not a lot done today.

Frasan and the underwear is so cute.

Hope MiniLetUs got dressed in time.

Glad your garden centre is open Fancy.

LetUsPrey · 15/05/2020 18:01

Evening wenches.

He did get dressed eventually Apricot, although he was still brushing his teeth as I was waiting to lock up.

Hurrah for garden centre visit Fancy!

Athos says you don’t even need to lie down Helen, and he doesn’t care what time it is, he’ll be there whenever and however you want him.

mmmmm

I plan to not do very much this evening.

FancyFancy · 15/05/2020 18:18

Back from Waitrose - another small fortune spent Hmm
Was so pleased the garden centre was open, it's a local one and they're really nice there. I may potter round the garden later, thinking about where to put all my new plants. There is pizza and white wine in the fridge - yay!

LetUsPrey · 15/05/2020 19:15

Pizza. It feels like ages since I’ve had pizza. Hope DH gets some tomorrow.

It’s so nice when you can hear the happiness in what somewench writes like what you’ve written there Fancy Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/05/2020 21:38

Evening, It's been lovely weather most of the day today - apart from the frost this morning which has left the beans looking very ropey Confused

Hurrah for happy Fancy and her local garden centre, plus belated Hurrah for Apricot's socially distanced meeting of one person each. Yay for MiniLetUs getting work done.

OP posts:
LetUsPrey · 15/05/2020 22:00

Well thank you kindly Helen. The more cake will go nicely with my vodka.

Can’t help with the ropey looking beans. I’d do more harm than good, even virtually.

We’re on NCIS. Never disappoints.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 15/05/2020 22:05

NCIS? Is he being stern and shouty, or smiley and supportive? Or both?

We watched Four Weddings, and now I'm heading for the hayloft...

We’ve had some of both Helen. Lovely Grin

Sweet Athosy dreams Helen

FancyFancy · 15/05/2020 23:23

I made the mistake of having a glass of wine before contemplating planting arrangements - think I'll reassess tomorrow Grin

LetUsPrey · 15/05/2020 23:29

That could have led to some very interesting garden design Fancy Grin

I should head to the chateau

LetUsPrey · 16/05/2020 09:18

Morning wenches.

I’ve really worked up an appetite.

Usual plans today of washing, etc. Also need to go through DS2’s wardrobes with him and get him to try on lots of clothes to see what fits and what doesn’t. That always goes well Grin

FancyFancy · 16/05/2020 11:11

Morning - fortunately it was starting to get dark letus so that put the brakes on before I started doing anything permanent!

Looking fairly pleasant out there. Bin temperature has dropped Sad

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/05/2020 11:24

Morning all.
