The episode didn't get watched - DD seemed to want to chat, so it was another late night. Will try again this evening. Lunch today is our regular monthly 'ladies' lunch - basically the women of a certain age in our department - usually an excellent chance to catch up on office news

I do love jackdaws, at my junior school there was a boy who had a pet one. It followed him to school one day - we were all so jealous.

Re the light. DH suggested damp, but it hasn't been working since last summer, so... Could be the missing toothpaste though, hadn't thought of that.

I’ve tied the HBFs down Helen, and then I untied them and they returned the favour. The BSOS is coming in very handy.

It was bright and sunny when I got up. Not so much now.

Ditto to the weather here LetUs - plus a blip in the power which has knocked out the clock on the over. Not that the power cut was anything to do with weather- I'm just thinking of anything interesting that happened this morning, It's not even that interesting really. Killer new single was on the radio though.

I can also recommend the podcast You’re Dead To Me. Different historical figures and events discussed by an historian and a comedian and presented by Greg Jenner.

I plan to continue with the jigsaw tonight.

Morning wenches. Was up after midnight again because I’m stupid.

DH reports from the supermarket about 40 minutes ago that the fills are already very busy.

Usual Saturday here involving parent visiting, homework, washing, etc. Will try to squeeze in the new episode of Picard at some point.

Had a lie-in today - hurrah, and I was going to garden stuff, but it's mizzling away outside, so maybe not...

I really love Fräsan but not 5 o'clock in the morning. She wakes me up and wants food but the thing is the bowl is already full, can't she check that before she wakes me up?

Oh god wicked - that is Inconvenient Cat all day when I work from home. I have to go downstairs with him and point at his full bowl of food. He won't go down and check it himself. FFS and all that. That's why they're not allowed upstairs at night, they're bad enough coming upstairs when I'm having a lie-in and stomping all over the bed demanding attention when I'm still trying to sleep.
Suggest you get some matchsticks from the bar to prop your eyes open - or just go back to bed?

Mine woke me up by scrapping on my bed this morning ffs.

Friend’s cat does this. It’s like she’s saying “just letting you know I’m going to eat my food now. You have to come and watch me because I’m amazing at eating my food.”

Watched Picard. Good episode. Lots of CptRios.

Have been into town with both DC. That was fun. Now need to get DS2 to stick to his homework plan. I also need to empty the washing machine and do the dishes. Don’t want to.

Afternoon. Bit miserable here, but we're going for a walk round the block before I start cooking, just to get out of the house.

Evening. I've been in the garden all afternoon because it cleared up. I might as well have been in bed with HBFs for all the difference it seems to have made to the state of it

I also went shopping - I panic bought persil, a cabbage, lemons, potatoes and weetabix. And some vegetable seeds. I have not got the hang of panic buying - though the big sack of potatoes might count, because I could have bought a smaller one.

LOL Fancy - I initially read that as the cat crapping on your bed thing morning so you got off lightly by comparison. Mine are currently two little balls of sleeping cat. Awww.
