DS is fine. I haven't asked in any depth (so as not to make a big thing of it) but it sounds like the relevant lesson went much better than expected, so it may have all been a massive drama-queen/overreaction moment this morning - esp. if he's been stewing over it all weekend without me realising.

DS1 claims to be off college tomorrow. Strangely enough I’m not going to take his word for it and am going to check.

I think we just start our own, private supermarket Helen. We’ll need certain foodstuffs stocking obviously. Lotus biscuit spread, pink fizz, paella, Nutella.

Went to the supermarket earlier no HBFs sadly, the shelves were pretty empty in some departments. Not much loo roll. I can't understand it, we get the raw materials from Sweden, not China.

I'm not sleeping very well, and am so tired. Think I'll have an early night, although then I'll lie awake for longer.

That's a horrible nightmare to have LetUs - and re DS2 and French (DS loves French homework - they have an online quiz thing which he enjoys doing.) I think it’s because folk are stockpiling the loo roll Apricot but I could be wrong and it’s a supply thing.

No lingering minty aroma anywhere so you can trace the toothpaste? And you definitely need some HBFs to help you sleep in that they’ll thoroughly tire you out first

Agree with stocking the supermarket with different kinds of chocolate including pre-melted. I’ll have a large Nutella I won’t be needing a spoon

Work, work, blah, blah. Will be glad when things slow down at work, but can't see it happening any time soon. Keeping fingers crossed that gets recognised in this year's pay rise - should find out soon.

I think a private supermarket would be best. I know being Team A means sharing, but I have my limits.....

Bright and sunny here.

Morning. It's bright and sunny here which is just as well since I need all the help I can get. Worked past midnight last night then had to hear up a wheat pack for my shoulders because they were ouchy. This morning I have knocked the chicken food all over the floor fed the chickens and cats and birds etc. nd remembered to put the bins out (though last time I forgot the lovely bin men rolled their eyes at me shooting out in PJS and dressing gown and said that they would have come into the drive to fetch them.

Absolutely everything crossed for Fancy getting a pay rise - hopefully int the currency of HBFs

Oh - dreams. I can confirm that dream Caitlyn Moran is fabulous. The real one probably is too, but that's all I can remember from last night's effort.

Now I need to do the work and get dressed thing. In the other order.
