i just dont get why some have a baby and then go to work whilst the child is being brought up by someone other than the mother.

every mum should breast feed unless for medical reasons, why any mother would want to give their baby anything other than the best is terrible.

and dummies are just a convenience for the parents. babies and toddlers do not need them, they are disgusting things.

jumping (seen as though you're still trip trapping around) would you care to answer my questions further down - the one about working nights (so that you're still there for your children in the day, and the other about dummies and "sucky" babies/housework/shagging your DH).

fransmom · 18/08/2007 21:44

Jumpingmum, you don't have to justify your birth method. You're the one who's judging others.

WanderingTrolley · 18/08/2007 21:44

Is that what he says, "I've had it with you!"

Because you have misunderstood him, and quite woefully so.

fransmom · 18/08/2007 21:45

footy or rugby ll?

TheQueenOfQuotes · 18/08/2007 21:45

woohoo - go DropDeadFred

DrippingLizzie · 18/08/2007 21:45

Do you dress up as an evil, bottle-feeding working mum and stick a dummy up his arse to turn him on?

TheQueenOfQuotes · 18/08/2007 21:45

I know - I've been watching the score online......doesn't look good.....

mollymawk · 18/08/2007 21:46

Aha! Thanks littlelapin. First result is:

  1. Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.

I could do this all night but really have some work to so shall try to resist...

CantSleepWontSleep · 18/08/2007 21:47

Why did the scarecrow win an award?

Because he was out standing in his field.

(Jumpingmum - I'm a SAHM, still bf at 18 months, and dd has never used a dummy, so you're allowed to laugh at my joke. )

jumpingmum · 18/08/2007 21:48

i dont mind mums who work nights whilst daddy looks after kids. my real problem is with kids and babies being put in nursery through out the day.

and as for dummy. no, i dont see a need for them in any situation. there is other ways to settle your baby without 1.
cuddles, singing, swinging. walking, etc etc. a lot of these you can do together with another child. the housework etc comes 2nd if you have to settle or sooth a baby

OP posts:
WanderingTrolley · 18/08/2007 21:49

jumpingmum the best way to settle a baby is smack it.

Surely everyone knows that.
