Weird dreams alternating between modern day Sheffield when I was trying to find my way somewhere using google maps, and countryside of olden days where I had morphed into Maggie Gyllenhall and was shepherding some children into a car to send them to safety and a chap was trying to murder me with a tray of sandwiches because I was going to tell the Police he was the murderer. All very Miss Marple. No FAF whatsoever.

LOL LetUs - at least that was a better effort than my visit to a theme park where the roller coaster we wanted to go on shut after we'd been herded in next to it to take out seats so we had to climb out via some sort of oversized softplay area. Non FAF, just annoying children mucking up the slides. Go figure, and then I woke up feeling very unsettled. FFS and all that.

Wildlife count is at 1 barn owl and about 20 swans, plus geese, ducks and various garden birds. It's very nice to see the bar owl again - we used to have on in the garden regularly but haven't seen it for ages. Oh - and one cat is installed on my lap, but he's not really wildlife, just very smug and happy.

Weather is still and relatively clear. It's been light enough the past two mornings to feed the chicken on my way in from the bus drop-off so it must be getting lighter... Yay!!!

Afternoon. Absolutely throwing it down this afternoon. I went with DH to do some jobs while he picked DGS up and got drenched getting back to the car.

Can't remember any dreams from last night, but I do think our dreams are more interesting than RL.

Evening, I have had a much more obviously productive day today - hurrah. The bonfire is bigger than it was and there are fewer brambles in the garden. Also, the mousetraps are all emptied ad re-baited and we have more wood in the house for the fire.

In other news, twitter tells me that "Lucifer confirms musical episode for final season"; that Santi has had a Picard photoshoot (twitter.com/Tolemsrihua/status/1217063292641910785) and that he described his character as Lonely, adventurous and unpredictable - sounds like a job for TeamA there then. And that if you're doing make-up for Caes Bang then you need him to sit down - or you have to stand on a box.

Now, 1) That really isn't a nice image - do his eyes come out on stalks or what? and 2) If FAF are plunging anything into you, it shouldn't be their eyes

FFS, no inspiration re. FAF - just more unsettling dreams about stuff which I can't remember, but I woke up at 1:30, 4:30 and 6am - nothing to do with DS for once. I shall not be my shiny happiest best at BoringOfficeJob today...

Outside is too wet and dark for wildlife. Sensible stuff is all staying undercover and trying to stay dry. In the meantime it's heavy cloud and peeing down with rain. Joy.
