I thought I was past stripping wet beds in the middle of the night, but apparently if DS' glass of water is too close to him he will tip it all over himself, and arrive at your bedside, damp and miserable, at 4am... I ended up clearing the spare bed and getting back to sleep for an hour at 5:30 while he slept in ours. [bleary-eyed]

On the plus side I'm meeting friends for lunch. On the down side I shall probably face-plant mid-lunch and snore through it. Can I come and have a sports massage too LetUs? I need one. Not that I've done anything like stretching or exercises to un-crunch my back and help myself - I just want someone to wave a magic wand and fix it without me needing to do anything

And so, if I'm skipping out early for lunch, I'd better get cracking on doing some actual work... I'll get dressed later.

We had thunder in the night - seemed weird at this time of year. Right, need to get going for work, laters

Afternoon. Lunch was yummy, and we have had torrential rain and thunder - interspersed with brilliant sunshine from 2:30. When I got back, DH announced that he was considering going out tonight, so I quickly stomped on that idea by pointing out that Friday is my night out for swimming to badminton.

Snuggly cats have spent the day asleep on our bed. They haven't moved, apart from when they got up to turn around and fall asleep again. I want to be one of my cats.

As well as Cyril vandalising the holly tree, the wood pigeons are at it now. There were three of them in it this morning having a feast. How anyone keeps their holly berries until Christmas I don't know.

Really stressful day, fell asleep after work I was so tired. I've been juggling work, running to and from the laundry room and also as a surprise the toilet flushing thingy broke so I had to hunt down a plumber. Thankfully there's a firm just across the street so they could help me. Don't know what the cost will be yet.

I went to buy some replacement ankle boots today, and ended up with shoes Still - they're to replace a pair that have just been binned due to disintegrating soles that the cobbler won't mend any more (much like my boots, which are the same age), so I'm not really Imelda Marcos adding unnecessarily to my shoe collection.
