Hello

Thought I'd better do a new one cos 'chat' threads go after 90 days

OP posts:

no news.....he's not breech, the mw just got confused (!?) he's smallish tho, about 6lbs they reckon from the scan, even tho she's 5'9'' like me and her hubby is bigger than mine...
she is very emotional and hormonal but we're all phoning her every day to chill her out,
dd getting over that awful cold now, she's asleep in the buggy in the garage (devious smile) next to a humming freezer which keeps her asleep longer.

JoanWilder · 01/11/2007 15:03

we only had one lot of trick or treaters, 15 yr old lads using their hoods as costumes, dumbasses.
I laughed when mum's dog started barking and growling at one of them, making him run away har har Harry started to chase him!
we had no more after them hooray you've reminded me I can now eat the rest of those sweeties

Macdog · 03/11/2007 07:51

Awake....and bored

OP posts:
ScareBear · 03/11/2007 08:41

we had a few trick or treaters, but we ended up eating most of it once ds1 and 2 were asleep [too much chocolate face]

have to go get dressed now and nip to town, post off ebay stuff that i sold (now got rid of the playmats and mobile) but £25 saved up in the pot for the new hall carpet then have to drop the boys off at my parnets to be in work at 2pm. i finish at 7pm then a quick change and meet my parents and children at my aunties for a big family bbq/bonfire/fireworks display. we all head down on the our old paddocks but as theres no "Miss Prissy" (our old pony) any more we can let the rockets off and all huddle in the barn if it rains. which fingers crossed it wont.

ScareBear · 03/11/2007 08:43

when ds1 was little before he could say the colours of the fireworks , we would be watching them and instead of saying a red one, a green one etc he would say, percy, thomas, james !! its now a standard joke to call the names of the engines out instead of the colours. ds1 gets i a bit of a mood now when we do, but its funny and we will probably keep doing it till hes old!! just to keep embarrassing him

Macdog · 03/11/2007 10:42

We've been invited to a firework party tomorrow, but I think dd a bit young yet.
Been awake since 4am . One of those nights when I was just awake for no reason. Dozed off around around 8.30, just in time for dd to wake up. Bloomin' knackered now

OP posts:
ScareBear · 04/11/2007 21:40

ds2 seemed to like the fireworks, he was treansfixed on them, he didnt jump or seem bothered, he just stared at them.. then would occasionally turn to us and point and say "look"!!

its his in word this week, everything is look, look and he points at it.

i caught him trying to climb UP the outside of the fridge/freezer tonight, i was standing at the worktop making his night bottle and heard kicking noise on the fridge so looked down to see him hanging on the handle of the bottom freezer part and his legs "walking" up the door!! he looked like he was trying to be spiderman or something. i dont understand why he has to climb on EVERYTHING ds1 was never like this. ds2 will try to climb on the back of the setee and sit on the window sill if he can,,, WHY????

opps , got click happy then i think

Macdog · 05/11/2007 12:42

I've got a climber too, so I sympathise.
We were stashing stuff behind the settee that we didn't want her to get, but now she just climbs up, leans over and grabs it !!!

JoanWilder · 05/11/2007 15:29

dd too!!!
MD hope you are vaguely less knackered now! I bought the nescafe with the free red mugs today, BOGOF in tesco so ive got 2 nice red coffee mugs now (mmmm ,love nescafe)
its what wakes me up in the morning
weather is foul today cold and grey and blustery
Ive been analysing dreams on another thread for MNtters!!!! have a look ill try and do a link
still addicted to pacman, its the only pc game which raises my heartbeat (does it count as exercise, then?)
dd saw a few fireworks, but didnt really like them, we watched them through the bedroom window
I feel really well this week, happy self again..
even tho work is alarming, in a week ive had 4 awful customers. Im writing to the daily mail about customers needing to improve their manners to shop staff. Rude sons of bitches (excuse me)
watched an old crow haranguing the fishmonger at tesco, wanted to slap her stupid old face. I told the woman at cust services it wasnt his fault and she said Id probably saved him getting a warning! everybody jumps to the conclusion the salesperson is to blame, noone ever says to the customer 'mind your manners, missus'
rude old goat! hope the daily mail print it

JoanWilder · 05/11/2007 15:30

dream thread here

ScareBear · 05/11/2007 21:09

how come you know so much about dreams??
it was ages before ds1 was "in" one of my dreams, but with ds2 it was quite soon, for some reason dp was never in my dreams as well until a few years ago.. strange.

i had a horrible dream of ds1 falling out of a window and i coudlnt get there in time to catch him, i sat up in bed and cried afterwards.

im going to remeber my dream and tell you straight away tomorrow

ScareBear · 05/11/2007 21:11

i finished off all the skirting boards yesterday, i kept thinking that the paint wasn't very glossy till i twigged i had brought satin effect for a change!!! oh dear.
i only have the picture rail left to "gloss" and dp has to put the beading down around the edges and the bedroom is finished!! yay, then ds2 will be moving in with his big bro.... suppossedley anyway as if it will happen..

Macdog · 06/11/2007 10:31

The most bizarre dreams I have are when I dream about smoking (I stopped 8 years ago). I wake up really upset that I've started again, when I haven't. They are really vivid dreams.
I also used to have really bad night terrors, but they're not as frequent now, luckily.

OP posts:
JoanWilder · 06/11/2007 15:54

night terrors are awful, I ripped down half my bedroom wallpaper in my sleep when I was about 11, I was trying to climb the walls because a witch was chasing me...
Ive always had a vivid imagination..but that was too vivid.

JoanWilder · 06/11/2007 15:55

I stopped smoking the same time as you MD!
creepy coincidences continue...

JoanWilder · 06/11/2007 15:55

on my own with dd tonight as dh is partying in Blackpool after a Verve concert lucky thing!

JoanWilder · 06/11/2007 15:57

I like dream analysing, graphology and tarot reading. All hobbies, I dabble but seem to get a few things right. It is all interesting to me, I relate stuff to my psychology a-level...

ScareBear · 06/11/2007 20:41

whats graphology? sorry if its obvious and i dont know!!

dp and i have argued all day, well he moaned all day i just dont argue back anymore, which seems to wind him up even more, but i just can't be a*d to argue back. we're at the pissed off with each other stage at the moment i think.

JoanWilder · 06/11/2007 21:48

I do that with dh, sometimes he really wants to argue but I leave the room with the paper!!

graphology is analysing handwriting
subconsciously you give a lot away through how you write, ie. what education you had, your intelligence, creativity, and parts of your personality.

My eye aches, dd twatted me round the head with a plastic frog and I have a black eye! I thought I'd smudged mascara but I dont wear any make-up on non-work days! little vicious knid she is
