Jennster · 02/10/2007 22:39

Jennster · 02/10/2007 22:43

No plonk again tonight, day 2 of proper diet with lots of fruit and veg.

Jennster · 02/10/2007 22:45

Jennster · 03/10/2007 15:57

Just bought ds some sleepsuits.... size 6-9months His 3-6 ones don't fit in the body anymore. He's too long for them. His bulky night nappy doesn't help. He'd be 3-6 if they were separates, but he isn't even 3 months yet!

Macdog · 03/10/2007 19:27

Got dd a fabby t-shirt in Tesco today. Bright red with 'MY MUM ROCKS!' emblazoned across the chest. Saw it and couldn't resist it.
Bloody MIL managed to ruin 2 of dd's tops at the weekend. She must have bunged them in the tumble drier so one has shrunk and one is missing 2 poppers at the neck . But on the bright side, the shrunken one was in ASDA's sale for 75p and SHE bought the one whose poppers fell off HAHAHAHAHA oh what a terrible shame

I'm staying well away from the carton wine for a bit, learned a valuable lesson there.

Have a good night folks

If I win the lottery Jenn, we'll top their offer BTW

that house looks too good to be true at that price, it would be a lot more than that down i think. but around here a lot of the homes are second homes for all the olondoners that come up for the weekend which pushed up the price

JoanWilder · 03/10/2007 20:58

What about this one? That other house was seriously under priced. DH rang up and it's been sold. I was talking to the neighbour who lives in the other half of the same house (it was a mansion) and reckons it's nicer than hers (she has the servants entrance) and it's actually worth 340K. The owners have already moved out as they bought their next house for cash.

JoanWilder · 04/10/2007 16:12

dd got her feet measured today....41/2 E
is that small? The woman said they were rather narrow

to celebrate I got her a pair of pink velcro boots and a pair of trainers in Asda, pink dots, so cute

I know shes not walking but her feet need protection at play group and the cold.

When do you start potty training? my mum's told me to start any time now, putting her on the pot after meals for 2 mins, tapping her bum gently first and saying well done if anything happens, and to give her a book to read whilst she's on!!

Jennster · 04/10/2007 21:45

JW, dd is only 3 1/2 f and is 20 months. The soft shoes in mothercare Shoo shoos are good as they are like moccasins and fit a rangeof sizes so although expensive, they fit for ages. Perfect for walking indoors and cruising furniture. DD has some from here but we bought them in the sale for £10.

We aren't thinking of potty training until Christmas. She happily sits on the potty, but hasn't weed on it yet. She can say wet and dirty, but not sure she can tell us yet when she wants a poo.

Jennster · 04/10/2007 21:51

I'm 20 months older than my sister and was potty trained by the time she came along. I took a backwards step however when she was born.

We're also in real nappies so hopefully she will be aware of being wet. She is a littlun though and not as mature as some of her peers...and quite frankly I don't have the energy at the moment...is that really bad?

Macdog · 06/10/2007 00:40

TenderheartBear · 06/10/2007 11:04

we potty trained ds1 when he was 2 1/2. he took to it straight away and never had an accident at night or during the day, my mum said i didnt know how lucky i was with him, as he has alswys been really good, so i think ds2 is going to make up for it all now, as when hes naughty hes really naughty!!

JoanWilder · 06/10/2007 16:55

hmm think Ill leave it a bit, then. My mum is potty herself, I think with 'selective' memories about things that happened 25-30yrs ago. bless her!
