I saw a woman in the Science Museum today, who really could only be described as having "let herself go"

Grey streaky "hanging" hair, huge arse and fat tum in grey tracky bottoms, footglove shoes, shapeless burgundy tunic top and hanging tits. She really looked like she had given up on life. In contrast, she had three dear little, divinely trendily dressed girls with her. She had obviously put a lot of thought and effort into what they were going to wear (down to the very funky hat one of them was wearing) but hadn't even spent five minutes on herself.

Why?

OP posts:
donnie · 18/04/2007 14:25

but what ARE crocs??????

Hathor · 18/04/2007 14:26

wildwoman you really don't want to know, trust me.
if you thought crocs were fascinating, then mooncups are doubly so.

wildwoman · 18/04/2007 14:26

I'll tell you what crocs are if you tell me what a moon cup is

Hathor · 18/04/2007 14:27

both are made of plastic
both have holes in
both are dull dull dull

Hathor · 18/04/2007 14:28

bet there are more archived threads on moon cups than on crocs.

Mhamai · 18/04/2007 14:28

Crikey I can't link but briefly, mooncups are an alternative to tampax/tampons, you remove them and empty them, oh you really need the mooncuppers to explain better, I think frannyandzooey sells them.

Crocs, are like the jelley shoes but not the same, arghhhhhhhhh, I'm no good at this, epat is the expert there tho.

Phew!

Mhamai · 18/04/2007 14:29

expat rather.

wildwoman · 18/04/2007 14:29

That sounds kind of yucky...I think I'll leave it. Thanks for explaining!

donnie · 18/04/2007 14:30

well as far as I know a mooncup is a plastic or maybe rubber moon shaped vessel which is inserted into one's fanjo during one's ' time' to catch all the flow, thereby omitting the need for tampons or towels. But you wouldn't catch me shoving one of those up mine!!

now - what is a CROC!!!!

ShrinkingViolet · 18/04/2007 14:30

don't fancy getting confused between the two though

AitchTwoOh · 18/04/2007 14:31

pmsl hathor. mooncups are crocs for fannies.

AitchTwoOh · 18/04/2007 14:31

oooh i love my mooncup. so much better thna tampons.

Hathor · 18/04/2007 14:31

Both are "rather yucky" ww.

wildwoman · 18/04/2007 14:32

www.rubbersole.co.uk/products.aspx?categoryid=909 can't link, sorry donnie

Mhamai · 18/04/2007 14:33

Ooh be careful hathor, hell hath no fury like a crocer or mooncupper scorned!

wildwoman · 18/04/2007 14:33

can't say anymore as I'm also on a let's not discuss crocs anymore thread

Mhamai · 18/04/2007 14:35

Hate that wildwoman, what a croc of Sh*t!

daydreambeliever · 18/04/2007 14:35

i was shopping with my sister once, she was giving me the yes or no to different outfits. i came out of the change room in my real (own) clothes and she went 'no. just no.'

i camt remember if i bought anything

donnie · 18/04/2007 14:35

well I have just seen them on a link on another thread and they are hideous!!! strictly for hilbilly lesbies IMO.

wildwoman · 18/04/2007 14:37

leave me alone Mhamai

babyonboard · 18/04/2007 14:41

What a long thread, several people have already said this but nevermind.
I see plenty of well groomed, designer clad (though not especially stylish, I mean lipsy etc), women around our local high street with children that look like they need a good wash, seem unhappy, and are getting yelled at or dragged around. Same children ca nbe seen in nail bars/hairdressers etc bored out of their minds while their mum treats herself. Surely this is far worse than the situation you are btching about?
To say taking care of your children over yourself is wrong and something to be sneered at is just shocking.

Mhamai · 18/04/2007 14:45

Bangs head off the keyboard! The bitching stopped years ago, ok, well about 200 posts at a rough guess, we are on crocs and mooncups now! Do keep up

Hathor · 18/04/2007 14:46

I think the thread has moved on babyonboard! It has descended from bitching into croc-worship.
I think the OP probably explained herself about 250 posts ago - it is not as bad as you think - but probably not worth reading the thread.

Mhamai · 18/04/2007 14:48

Amen. Well seeing as it's worship.

Hathor · 18/04/2007 14:48

END OF THREAD**

Right. STOP THREAD NOW.
In danger of being sucked into a perpertual loop of MN nonsense.
