have actually made my way to bed, but here I am STILL on the laptop - aaagh.
they have said 3 weeks, but i am thinking more like double that, then we won't be annoyed when it is taking longer. hopefully if there is good weather it will help..(?)

they have said that most of the work will be done from outside, so not sure if they are just going to smash a hole in the roof and move in

Oh lucky you I'm still in front room on laptop with absoulout useless programs on tv don't even know why its on really, just used to the background noise I think, Yes I'd say it would take longer than that, are they good builders? I'v had some reall odd characters, what do they say "pay peanuts and get monkeys" something like that.

Outside sounds like it's going to be trapsed up and down the stairs, sawdust, brickdust oh I dont envy you. Are you having a skylite? Its easier in the summer as you can have the windows open more but it does get very dusty.
