Crochet for Candy.

I know that Candy (Zombie) touched so many lives and is being supported and remembered so beautifully as she takes her next journey.

Woolly Hugs are making blankets in her memory that will be passed onto women who are going through treatment for cancer.

If anyone would like to learn to crochet or would like to offer to help others to learn then please feel free to use this thread and offer your skills.

Marcipex, do you actually knit and crochet left handed tho? I know it sounds a daft question, but I'm left handed, but I knit and crochet right handed (learnt to knit at 5 from right handed mum, and to crochet from a book, then a bit of help from mums friend, at about 7).
Equally, if your DD isn't really strongly left handed, she may be quite happy to knit/ crochet right handed anyway.
I think i' d start with making a crochet chain using a biggish hook, and see if she can do that, then carry on at her pace....good luck :-)

If I make sure I have some stuff to keep my DDs entertained (ipod, colouring, homework ect), have plenty of food available and bribe them with a movie night I can probably meet anywhere.
