Antenatal and postnatal threads on MN

People who post on these - you are aware that your posts can be read by people who aren't "on" your threads, right?

Because some of you are pretty offensive and dim otherwise.

I did a search on my name because someone said they had done a shout for me, and found my name on a postnatal thread. Odd, I thought..... When I looked further, it was saying Not Very Nice Things. Folk going on to my profile and making assumptions about me based on what threads i have clicked on (thinking they are mine, ffs! As if I'd shag my husbands twin, if he had one, LOL).

Which is kinda what this is about.

So, they dont like folk starting threads that are easy for folk to see what the issue is, and we are all bullies, and bitchy and playground, which they are discussing, somewhere that they think is 'their own little section of the bike shed', which is actually just very nasty, and bitchy and bullyish. But thats alright, because we arent meant to see it....

Back to the OP though. Did they think because 'regulars' had stopped posting, that the door was closed and locked and that the bike shed was secure? Really??

1. they did - and that is patently silly
2. they didn't and so they were being offensive and nasty

i think things are getting out of hand, i just dont see why a thread was made about this, the soilds thread name was a bit of a laugh and yes some ppl might have started weaning on them but some of the babies are nearly 5months (i know the who say to wean at 6months before you jump down my throat), i havent but then again my lo is only 15weeks old and isnt really a hungry baby anyway so she will probably last till she 6months!!!

we know ppl can read wot we rite and ppl mite of sed stuff about other ppl who wrote stuff about weaning on the thread but like you they are probably not bothered if you read it

I's not a case of you disagreeing with the so called in crowd. The problem is your coming on this thread shouting and swearing. I admit to not having read the original thread but fron what I can gather, no-one did that there. All that happened was someone gave some well meaning advice.

If you aren't weaning until 6 months then why are you so upset about advice saying that you need not wean until then?
