People who post on these - you are aware that your posts can be read by people who aren't "on" your threads, right?

Because some of you are pretty offensive and dim otherwise.

hang on... post-natal..?

AitchTwoOh · 25/02/2007 00:37

hunkerdave · 25/02/2007 00:37

LOL Aitch! Fraid so

SaintGeorge · 25/02/2007 00:39

Ah but hunker, if you will insist on hijacking and interloping on other folks threads you should by now expect a bashing. You really must stop ramming it down their throats my dear.

Saturn74 · 25/02/2007 00:40

As usual, all things controversial seem to have gone completely over my head.
One of these days I am going to start a scandal, or get a bit cross, or really tick someone off.
Probably.

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 25/02/2007 00:41

Too much wine... I'm lost

StG did you ever bother to email me you addy? (or have I lost it already )

SaintGeorge · 25/02/2007 00:42

No, running to email now.

hunkerdave · 25/02/2007 00:44

SG, it wasn't me - this time!

OP posts:
SaintGeorge · 25/02/2007 00:46

Relax Hunker, I know. Read my post carefully, 'tis just a few silly references to me knowing which thread it is .

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 25/02/2007 00:46

You knew who I was though

hunkerdave · 25/02/2007 00:46

Ah, actually, I see they did make reference to me - I hadn't been back to look

More "OUR thread" stuff.

NO it isn't. It's a thread that usually nobody is interested in, granted, but anyone can post on it.

OP posts:
hunkerdave · 25/02/2007 00:47

LOL SG!

It's not the first time this has happened and it won't be the last either

OP posts:
SaintGeorge · 25/02/2007 00:47

Not a clue Rodney, I just mass emailed my address to everyone in my contact list

MyNamesNotDaveItsRodney · 25/02/2007 00:48

pmsl - good plan!

AitchTwoOh · 25/02/2007 00:55

can't find it but have remembered why i was so delighted to have found MN and left a previous forum that i used to post on. no disrespect to anyone who wants to chat to their virtual pals about boring day-to-day household-y things, but i don't understand the impetus. surely it's just more fun to talk about an ishoo or a newspaper article or tv programme or something... not just whether someone's DH is back from work or whether their ankles are swollen. i mean swollen to a record-breaking degree i can understand, but just swollen?

there was one woman, on this place i used to go, who actually used to post a countdown to when her fiancee was going to return home and have sex with her. a fkn minute-by-minute blow-by-blow account of her stupid boring day and her empty, useless head as she prepared to suck the spearmint gaviscon right out of him...

then radio silence for the entire weekend (bliss), followed by a squeaky, high-pitched rendering of every moment spent together. i actually despised her. [exhausted just thinking about it]

i do hope she turns up on MN one day. i will just know it's her... i'll feel a disturbance in the force.

Saturn74 · 25/02/2007 00:58

"as she prepared to suck the spearmint gaviscon right out of him..."
If I wasn't too tired to trawl and find the quote of the week thread, I'd be nominating ya right now, Aitchlington.

hunkerdave · 25/02/2007 01:04

[barf]

Which forum, Aitch?

OP posts:
AitchTwoOh · 25/02/2007 01:11

ach, it was one that i used for a grim medical thingie. but once you'd got over the grim medical thingie you could go onto ttc threads, pg threads and latterly a parenting thread.
everyone is faaaaaar too naice there, and the minute a fight would break out (usually me and her, because she was A FKN EEJIT) there would be fifteen flappy women coming on saying 'we're here for support bleat bleat bleat sob'.

and this girl, despite persistently writing 'oop' instead of 'up' (because she was from the north, dontchaknow?) was actually rather well-liked because of her 'must report my every fart and squeak' approach to forum membership.

so this (she thought) granted her free licence to advise people in the most strident, inappropriate and innaccurate manner. she was a monumental bully and weirdo compulsive confessor - i genuinely loathed her.

hunkerdave · 25/02/2007 11:25

She sounds delightful, Aitch - she'd be a real credit to MN. PMSL at fart and squeak

lulumama · 25/02/2007 11:32
