What happened to Jan 6 as the day for taking down decs??? Seems like decs are going up and coming down earlier and earlier these days...

Ours need to come down today for the photographs, but usually I refuse to say goodbye to the tree till the bitter end!

De-Christmased yesterday. Thank God that dreaded job is done. A month is long enough & I can't face doing it on a school day, that's why I don't leave them til the 6th.

Agree madame, the decs seem to go up & get taken down earlier & earlier . Mine are still up - but then I don't put them up until about a week before Christmas. Usually take them down on 6th, but may take them down tomorrow as DD is back at school, so it feels like Christmas is finally over.

I'm up for W&P-ing later - we can all be marvellously confused over the large cast together!

I will try to be on for W and P later, although DM is coming because she is looking after kids tomorrow, due to inset day. So she may want to talk to me (although may want to watch it).

I do love taking it all down and everything looking normal again, much as I love the twinkly lights etc.
I have also had a move around and the living room looks much better.

Mum sat with a miserable face all night and I've just found out why...golden boys dd wasn't here. (She never is at weekends. She is sent to her aunt so my bro and sil can go drinking)

And she just doesn't give a toss unless my brothers dd is around.
She does have 4 other gc.......
