Went for a curry with rugby club friends last night...... Very ill advised as worked today, only just finished and have been knackered all day as we were in late.

Now have house full of people as per usual.

Going to sneak off and have a sleep now I think.

And I think I need their guide to who all the people are and which family they're in due to the fact I never actually got past the first party at Pavlova's or whatever. Just hoping Andrew Whatsit has sexed it up enough for me .

Staying in here - I'm not a huge fan of NYE and there's not even any Paella on the Hootenanny, but I'll try to stay up for the bells.

Not a huge fan of NYE either, however I have fond memories of being a teen, staying in babysitting kid sister whole parents went out and watching excellent films (such adAll the Presidents Men) on BBC 2 that ran through midnight so you could totally ignore the whole thing. However I never turn down the opportunity to eat and drink well, so have had a long bath with with bubbles of both sorts and an now sharing a rather good bottle of red with DrIssy (who's currently reading The Colour of Magic out loud to the eldest DC).
