Who are the newbies?

I've only been on mn for a few months - August I think it was. Who else is a newbie? It's hard to tell from posts who is new and who is 'old'! Also, do any other newbies find

1 you can kill a thread stone dead with one flash of your nickname?

2 your threads fall off the active convos at an alarming rate

3 you spend ages thinking of something incredibly witty to say and no-one notices?

Can I just quickly trespass on here to say something to Baconbaps? You said at 10:35 this morning: "I thought an argument must have broken out between the clique and the newbies." Can I just point out that it is possible to not belong to either of these camps? I am neither newbie nor clique!

i actually suscribed to the flylady emailgroup for a week... didn't clean out anything other than my inbox... i am secretly rathrer jealous of your tidy homes. hence my lashing out.

Have been around for a few weeks and although I mostly lurk I've found an excellent variety of advice/different ideas on MN and have been provided with many laughs! I'm addicted already although I don't get nearly enough time on the computer.......
