Evening wenches.

RBNRM.

Pleased you're back Badderz. Big massive squidges for you Elk Sad.

Watching a recorded Only Connect with DS1. I just got an answer on the very first clue of a sequence. Go me.

BloodyElkFire · 21/05/2015 22:03

Thanks all she was deteriorating again and her tongue had ulcers so she was suffering. Have been going to that vets for years and trust their judgement implicitly. We're going away for a long weekend at the seaside tomorrow so I'm going to wait until we get back to tell MlleElk, there's no point in upsetting her now.

FancyFancy · 21/05/2015 22:12

Poor cat Sad, glad to hear you have a nice vet, it's always such a horrible decision to make, even when you know it's the right one. The weekend away will be very welcome I'm sure.

MadamedeChevreuse · 21/05/2015 22:16

Thanks Madame and Helen

Right. Finally packed. It's weird going with 3/4 and no DH but there we are, exams come first. It'll be lovely to be away, desperately needed. Will be mostly planning my retirement. (Not joking) and daydreaming about Bumping into TB at the airport.

Nos da!

LaComtess · 21/05/2015 22:57

Thanks Fancy Grin

LetUsPrey · 22/05/2015 08:03

Morning wenches.

Have a great holiday Comtess.

I have that feeling of impending dooooooom and worry which is baseless and usually comes to nothing. Don't like it though. Ah well.

BIL did the wrong fuel thing too.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 22/05/2015 08:26

Morning.

Well wenches - I thought I was having a really good dream last night when I was woken up in the middle of the night. Turns out it was an earthquake... Shock That wasn't the sort of earth-moving Santidream I was after.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 22/05/2015 08:27

Is it often you feel like this or is it in regards to a specific thing, letus?

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 22/05/2015 08:28

Duh, you said it was baseless.

LetUsPrey · 22/05/2015 08:37

How pissed off would you be if you'd been in the middle of an Aramisex dream and you got woken up?

FancyFancy · 22/05/2015 08:49

Morning.

Poor DD has trundled off to school this morning with cheeks so red they're practically luminous. She had tried a new suncream recently - it was ok on a small patch on her arm & so she tried a bit on her face - not fine. So it's back to the stupidly expensive stuff, which is the only one she doesn't react to, and I have a cupboard full of different hypoallergenic suncreams that she can't use . .

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 22/05/2015 08:50

fancy try Asda's baby suncream. 1 pound Hmm, no nasties. I will take the pic later. DD uses it now.

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/05/2015 09:00

DID IT FEEL BIG SPARKS???

FancyFancy · 22/05/2015 09:10

Ooh thanks drink I'll look out for that one. She used to be ok with Nivea kids hypoallergenic until they changed the formula. At £1 a bottle I wouldn't be upset if it wasn't ok either.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 22/05/2015 09:12

Nivea is just fucking offensive.

FancyFancy · 22/05/2015 09:13

Off out for coffee soon, probably ought to have a shower & wash hair first. Have a good morning everyone

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/05/2015 09:13

Sad fancy.

Talking of holidays (sort of), does anyone have any thoughts about eurocamp?

Have never been before, but we booked a week on a eurocamp in france this summer. Hadnt paid the full balance or ferry yet. I got a request for payment this week and did a massive double take at the price.

Basically its 130 a night for 3 of us to stay in a tin hut - that's before food, entertainment and travel.

Im sure it wasnt this much when we reserved?!?! (Or I was just being thick.)

I just had a massive row with dp about it. I said I thought that for that amount of money, we may as well stay in a hotel or actual chalet. He has decided this means I never wanted to go in the first place.

Do people think it seems overpriced? Its school holidays, so who knows...Would we have any chance of getting something better value now, or is it too late to book?

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/05/2015 09:17

^ short version: is eurocamp good enough to warrant spending about 2 grand all in, for a week's holiday for three?

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 22/05/2015 09:38

I don't know but it doesn't sound lile it is worth it, madame. I'd go to a hotel and you'll get breakfast snd toiletries. Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 22/05/2015 10:03

I know drink, Im with you. But dps whole reason for choosing it was that they are supposed to be really kid friendly, so ds will have other kids to play with and will have a good time.

So basically, because dp refuses to impregnate me a second time, we have to go on holiday to eurocamp for the next 10 years. [ironicface]
